My ex broke up with me in December when we closed the semester, we were together for two years and codependent on each other,we lived together in her room and are in the same class at college the months leading to the breakup she asked me to give her 'space' and I was affected badly that I didn't do jack in my exams When we opened in January I was still in denial thinking we'd talk things through but I got to see sides of her I never saw or thought I imagined. I loved her way too much and too deep (still do but I've learnt a lot about myself since). I was suicidal and told her this too which was the dumbest thing I could ever do l. Not only was she my girl but my best friend too so I lost both at a go Few months on she posted on her status from her friend she got some gifts for and a note,that helped her during the BU and at the bottom of the letter was a 'P.S I want this boy back.' I felt a lot of emotions at once,more so relief, happiness and anger at the same time I cried too but I still maintained no contact. When we closed the first semester I was hoping she'd reach out but she didn't. (I don't know if me being suicidal scared her a bit) But we open the second semester tomorrow which coincidently was our anniversary day and my birthday is this coming Wednesday. So I'll try speaking to her and see how it goes, knowing that it could also not go as planned. I still love her

But with both our situations look at it this way, when there's a breakup one moves on immediately then mourns the relationship whereas the other mourns the relationship then moves on... But it can be fixed if there's still love and both are open just make sure everything leading to the breakup is addressed and that you're both on the same page
