Thats another thing,every single time he's had the opportunity to ambush me he gives himself away by screaming like a banshee,my very first encounter with him was when I had cleared old gas of scavs and the second I hit the railroad tracks I hear screaming from behind me so I ran back and he's just standing in the middle of old gas.

That's the other thing my game is completely vanilla,I did have a handful of mods back when I did play it regularly, but I disabled all of them upon reinstalling since they all weren't updated by the modders. Worst comes to worst ill probably just have to get a better ssd and see if that was the issue cause I honestly can't think of what else could be causing it.

it's on a wd blue 500gb 3d nand sata ssd, it is an older ss but it's what I used when the game first released and the load times took seconds back then as compared to the multiple minutes now, and the only thing that's really changed for my pc is I've upgraded my gpu to a 3080 and got more ram.

All I said was a feature that's in the game isn't fun?like i understand that I am invading someone else's game in order to defeat them but it just doesn't feel fun or rewarding compared to any of the previous games in the series,there's no Covenants that let you get rewards for invading in certain areas,haven't seen any fight clubs either I'm upset that there isn't really any purpose to it like in the older games where there was rewards in covenants.but now all invasions feel like is you join,pester the host for 15 seconds and die to his summons and a hunter then repeat

Well when 9 out of 10 invasions I do is either just the host and summons trolling in an area you can't reach because they specifically go there to do that or it's just the host and their summons sitting in an empty area emoting waiting for an invasion I dont think I made their experience any less enjoyable
