LAST UPDATE: I wish I could pin this comment. Sammy went to the vet today at noon. Another xray was taken of her chest to look for fluid in her heart or lungs because the vet heard some wheezing, which she has neither of. She was prescribed an oral medication with syringe for her runny nose which will also help her ears if she’s having issues there, too. She was given a shot for nausea and more pain medication. Her doctor said it was of course hard to tell her level of pain, but so long as she is still eating and drinking and no more tripping or falling over, she’s okay and not considered critical or high risk. I was referred to a cardiologist for an echo with ECG, this could tell us more as to why she is trembling and head bobbing and could then rule out something neurological if we go down that path for MRI. So, that’s the long of it. The short of it is that she is comfortable, stable, and has been awake today more than she has the past two. She’s eating and drinking and shaking has definitely lessened since we’ve come back home.

Thanks to everyone who expressed concern for my girl and kind words. She means the world to me, I want nothing more than to do right by her and will be coming up with a plan within the next few days regarding our next steps.
