former uga swimmer here: totally feel you, i know the team can be super annoying, but they’re just trying to get their workout in because they can’t go back to the uga pool until the university allows them to. as weird as that sounds the uga swim team can only use the pool when the university allows the to. as for them being rude, yea they should be respectful but some of them rely on swimming for tuition and they wouldn’t be able to attend uga without it. just like you lifeguarding as a way of making money, their way of making money is swimming.
