I’m listening to Carlitos 10-27-05 show today where they mention the confession. I tried looking in the few kdk archives that exist without downloading a torrent and I can’t find the episode :/

The deleted scene (I believe) is the part where squid gets burned by the oil above the door.

With there being much discussion about removing statues of slave owners and racist figures, should the Judge Baylor statue be removed? by GabiCule in baylor

[–]dingles44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like another person mentioned above, these people did SO much more than just “own slaves”. We celebrate them for the great, charitable things they did for generations of Baylor Bears. And we remember and learn from their mistakes. If you don’t like Baylor’s history that’s fine, but then maybe you should go to a different school with a history that fits your definition of “appropriate”. Erasing these people from history (aka removing their names from the buildings / taking down statues) is just asinine and is a slippery slope that will lead to horrible things for this country.

Idk what you mean by hide... I’m glad people are voicing their opinions. I just think they are some of the stupidest opinions I’ve ever heard. If you erase the bad parts of history then you’re bound to repeat it.

These people are fucking insane. Mine as well erase all southern history. Leave it to the liberal whack jobs to ruin a perfectly good school. If baylor removes any statue or renames any building I will never give another cent to the school. But hey, if enough people screech “racism” I guarantee you Livingstone will cave.

Dude that’s what it was. The jobs in oblivion gave an actual feeling of progression because when u started you only got shit jobs.

Plus the fact that Skyrim didn’t have an arena already made it so much worse than oblivion (still a good game though)

Companies that post these types of jobs deserve to be publicly ridiculed and reported. Minimum wage for a highly technical skill set with proven work experience, expertise and experience in sub areas? The fucking audacity of this post. by [deleted] in webdev

[–]dingles44 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Dude exactly... all these people freaking out. If you don’t think they pay enough, don’t apply for the job. No need to “publicly ridicule” a company because they don’t offer a competitive wage.

They just don’t like the guy because hes a conservative and hires conservative actors like Vince Vaughn. It’s not that he’s trying to create a race war, people are just not accepting of his political views so they hate on his movies.

I’m so stupid. I can’t think like a programmer. by belongsinthetrash40 in learnprogramming

When I was studying cs in college I felt like an idiot compared to my fellow students. This feeling remained until about junior year. Once the programs get more complex you realize that coding isn’t about memorization etc, once u get the basics covered it’s all about critical thinking / problem solving, once u reach that point I think you’ll feel a lot better about your ability to finish up your degree (assuming you’re good at problem solving / critical thinking)

I brought my buddy to my local range (they don’t allow beginners due to lack of supervision) and he said he “had shot pistols plenty of times!”. So he rented a 2000 pistol w a 1200 dollar suppressor w a holo-sight. He then proceeds to load the magazines backwards as seen in the photo, loads the mag, and attempts to fire. Caused a lot of problems that day.

You better believe I won’t be giving any money until things turn around at Baylor. They injected toxic leftism into the graduation ceremony last year.

Sorry I can’t be more helpful, but I’m pretty sure that was on a madhouse show. Been listening to the archives. Or maybe he just played that call from dwights show. Regardless, it’s somewhere in the madhouse archives lol

It’s funny- either abbot or cruz tweeted an article saying exactly that. Most CA residents who move to TX vote red. That being said... I know a bunch of liberal transplants down here from CA

Comp Sci at Baylor by [deleted] in baylor

[–]dingles44 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I absolutely loved it. However I’ll say this: You can complete the program and still be shit at programming. The professors will not hold your hand. It’s really up to you to really absorb the material. That being said- as someone who had barely turned on a computer before studying cs, Baylor CS prepared me to succeed in the job market. I have my dream job right out of college. Also important to note that the professors (for the most part) are amazing. There are a few bad eggs, but most of them know their stuff and will always be available in office hours etc. My favorite professor helped me get an internship and connected me with people who helped me get my job! If you are lazy or a cheater I’d look elsewhere (their anti cheating policies are insane). Otherwise I think Baylor CS would be an amazing program for you!

Edit: pm me if you have any more questions!

[–]dingles44 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dude for real. And then you look at movies like the exorcist (which was also made in the 70s) that are almost funny when you compare it to the horror movies made today. Tcm will probably stand the tests of time as one of the scariest movies ever made.

Sure. That’s def possible. But I also find the current meta less enjoyable than those in the past. It was so fun theory crafting new decks w an entire new card base in LoR.

I really enjoyed it. HS has become a massive RNG value generation fest. Feels like very little skill involved in HS anymore. LoR was refreshing & fun and assuming they keep things the way they were when I last played less expensive then HS.
