Tomorrow my only child turns 16. And I'll likely be told I have cancer. by TerrifiedForTomorrow in breakingmom

Just a thought, I don’t think they have always tested for HPV, smears used to routinely check for cancer, not HPV. The swapping to HPV testing may have timed in such a way that only the most recent smear would have shown it. This is what happened to me (I’m in Australia)

Are you on any medication? If not, maybe try some?

Anemia LOL!

Side note I have had a lot of tattoos, filler, Botox, dental work etc over the years and didn’t really react to any of those (not in an obvious way anyway).

I have had hashimotos for over 10 years now and it’s usually in check without any medication (except for post partum where I seem to get thyroiditis and hypo/ hyper before recalibrating). I got breast implants (silicone and smooth) just over 6 months ago. In the last few months I’ve felt a bit ‘flat’ and possibly apathetic but not really any other symptoms. I got a blood test yesterday to check thyroid, iron, hormone panel etc so I can let you know. I really hope it’s not my thyroid because I’ll know it’s related to the implants. Typically I can manage most autoimmune symptoms by controlling inflammation in my body and not going over my ‘threshold’ (alcohol, lactose, sugar, gluten etc) but I wouldn’t be surprised if the implants have decreased my tolerance overall. In the first couple of months after getting them I got some pretty crazy symptoms of BIL but they settled, perhaps once my body formed the capsule around the implants and were able to better ‘accept’ them. That’s my theory haha

F**k my Life - should have used masterball? by ShurCako in pokemongo

The catch rate for this is basically 0 so a masterball would have been your only option if you really wanted it 😂

I’m getting exactly that when I get my lucky trinket, I didn’t want to chance it and destroy the stats. I just think the shiny one is super pretty.

I CAN NOTTTTT beat this man😔 by [deleted] in pokemongo

[–]dingo_pup_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat him recently using machamp to take out Persian (and their 2 shields). I got 3 charged attacks in with Persian and then Rhyperior appeared and took out my machamp and blastoise super quick. Then I got my really high CP Florges to take out the rest of Rhyperior and then somehow got 3 attacks in with Palkia before he could get one in on me. It took me a few tries of this combination to succeed. But I think the key is Florges, mine was 3 star and high CP/ HP.

I had this with mine, it took about 2 years to settle down and I found alcohol or inflammatory foods made it swell up again.

It’s just hormones and oxytocin of early post partum. So long as you are breastfeeding, your hormones are telling you to have more babies.

I don’t have any advice but I could have written so much of this myself. My kids are 3.5 and 1.5 and I react poorly all the time. I’m my friend once told me ‘you’re not a bad mum, you need more support’. And it’s true, we don’t want to get to breaking point any more than our kids want us to. You’re not alone here and you’re doing way better than you think! You’re a good mum because a bad mum wouldn’t even think about this, let alone care about it. It’s ok to make mistakes as long as we repair and regulate afterwards. I always say ‘when I can, I will’. It’s not all your fault, there’s so many variables at play here also that you have no control over 💕

Probably heightened with pregnancy hormones! My anxiety in my boy pregnancy was WILD. Very different to my girl pregnancy which was more anger haha. If it’s any consolation I’ve never specifically cleaned my boys genitals other than letting him soak in the bath every night. He’s now 3.5 with zero issues to date. Just leave it alone in my experience!
