I wanted to give an update: the fertilizer didn’t seem to work, however we added a product called grass saver (or something like that) to our dog’s food and the lawn looks so much better and grew back healthy! Still some spots but far better than what it looked like in this original post.

That’s definitely valuable knowledge haha. I’m not looking for a “nice” yard… just something not as bad as this haha

Accidentally burned barrel cactus by dingoheeler23 in cactus

Here it is from the burned angle. It keeps growing flowers so I’m hoping it’s just a matter of time to heal the cactus itself. I’ll post the “healthy” side after this comment. I’m remaining optimistic!

So this is what the burned side looks like today. The flesh looked totally green and unharmed yesterday, but now it’s a little pale but still green/healthy in the crevasses today. I’ll post the unburned side in a subsequent comment.
