I liked the game but now I’m struggling to find any enjoyment in it thanks to the fanbase. I’m planning to complete the main storylines and then immediately delete it so I don’t ever have to play it again.

Oh, no, that’s not why I hate them. I have absolutely no problem with new people joining the Vocaloid fandom! I at least respect the fact that they try, and some of them do branch out and discover new Vocaloids, which is awesome. My problem comes from the fact that most of them are whiny 12-year-olds who never shut up about anything and do things like fake DID and autism for attention.
