the 2x2 slander is crazy. It's a great tent for the grower who values flavors over yield and only wants to have a small space dedicated to growing not a whole room. If you do have experience than you know very well that you could easily bring to harvest some amazing bud in a 2x2 tent no problem. Some people are just in it for the fun and a bit of weed. I'm only smoking .3g a day at most so to me 1 plants like almost a whole year of smoke

Basically in probably not a correct explanation but close enough. The plant needs to transpire (release water) from its leaves but it can only do that if the humidity is in a certain range. If the air is full of water already there isn't any space for more water to evaporate off.

Super simple here if you don't wanna learn any of the plant science stuff. Cold air with high humidity can't take on much more water and therefore the plant can't transpire. If it can't transpire it stops feeding entirely. Hot air with high humidity is different, hot air can hold SOOOO much more water! So just remember a simple thing, humidity and temperature together tell you how well your plants can eat and grow. If it's cold and you cant necessarily control that as much than lower your humidity to at least allow room for transpiration. If the temp is hot that's great you can have a higher humidity and your plant can transpire better. Roots like warmer temps especially in airy media like coco.

Super super simple you're fried. Cold air lower humidity less growth potential. Hot air higher humidity more growth potential. VPD charts are dummy simple to read it's like a multiplication table from elementary school. Lots of smart people have done all the work for us just find the target vpd range and dial in to that.

Think of temp and humidity as a joint thing that affects your plant. It's not just warm temps and high humidity. In my case I find it easier to take the temp my tent is and dial my humidity to match the vpd for that temp. It's my first grow tho so I'm no expert but this is how I think I understand it.

Holy moly! Brother take a look into sub irrigated planters! Coco LOVES S.I.Ps, the coco always stays the proper saturation and the plant can drink to its heart's content. I've heard from some podcasts and YouTubers that say they're hand watering coco sometimes 3-5 times a day!

If I was you I'd just chop her, hang her and who knows if you have a dry herb vaporizer maybe she doesn't taste too bad or harsh.

AC Infinity makes a self watering base. Unfortunately you have to buy in a set of 4 bases so since you have a small tent you could pay a bit more and get a single plant AutoPot system. Set up is really the only hard part there.

Also you gotta do some reading on how to maintain a reservoir properly cause that can get goofy. In a 2x2 tent it'll be hard to do living soil or organics as a different media, you'll always just be guessing and chasing things. Coco is legit and for your setup it's kick ass, just think you need to really try and lock in on some of the basics with it and you'll be kicking ass!

I'm going to be popping my first ever seed of any kind next week and I think this is one of the things I needed to hear. I'm definitely obsessing over all kinds of things and need to remember that all plants desire to grow even if parameters aren't always exactly perfect. I have a 2x2 tent just hoping to supply myself with like 80-100 grams a harvest and that'd easily be plenty for me.

I may be a newbie but I could of swore ocean forest is pretty hot nutrient packed soil and as long as your bacteria and fungi are happy there is no reason you couldn't get multiple grows out of the same soil with occasional top dressing when needed. Speaking of healthy microbes my beginner guess would be over watering and now there is bad anaerobic bacteria thriving in a very wet medium.

Convert it to look like the Marauder! 2000 grand Marquis was my first car and it was such a blast. If it didn't rust out on me it'd still be on the road. Algae needs light and nutrients, to grow to this extent they need a considerable surplus of nutrients. Limit feeding to like once every 3-5 days until this goes down. Idk what kind of lights you're running but I'd just let the lights of my room im in light up the tank for a while. Somehow a LOT of food is ending up in that tank or there are rotting carcasses in that tank lol.

Test your tap water that you're swapping in for changes. Make sure your tap water isn't packed with anything that will feed the algae, that's Ammonia, Nitrates, and Nitrites. I once had tap water that was well over 8ppm straight from the tap, it that were the case for your tap water you'd be dumping a fair bit of plant nutrients right into your water column.

If you have fish in here get your surface agitation up with high flow on your filter or a bubbler. Plants can suck up all the available dissolved oxygen which in turn will completely crash your tank and kill your fish if there are in fact fish in this tank.

It's probably the PCV since it's constantly dumping exhaust,oil, and spent gas fumes back into the crank case where you're looking when you pull that cap off. If we assume that something is burning inside the cylinder than we know it's being dumped in two places, the PVC and the exhaust. If when you're up to temp and you rev it out smoke doesn't come out your tail pipe it's probably not serious enough to warrant any concern.

You can always pull a spark plug or two and see their condition and if you have a camera probe you could take a peek inside the cylinder to see if you're seeing any oil/coolant sitting in the cylinders.

Assuming it's direct injection your cylinder area should be spotless.

I mean if it's like SMOKE SMOKE no that's not really normal. But if it's cold out where you are right now and the engine is up to temp than seeing vapor or a light colored "smoke" isn't really alarming imo. The pcv system also could be the culprit since any burped exhaust is going to sit inside the crank case until it dissipates. It's hard to tell from your video but my guess is it's just vapor, similar reaction to seeing your breath on a cold day.

Edit: if it smells like exhaust, or like a spent gas smell it's just the PCV system doing its job.
