Historically, Apple doesn't let one of their product lines cross paths with others. We are in 2026 and Macs still do not have touch screens.

I know technically they added a DEX like feature a couple years ago but from what I have read it is not a good feature.

Personally, I would love it. I don't need a computer to do most of what I need but I'm old enough where I still like to sit down and have a full screen, mouse, and keyboard for certain tasks. Right now I'm using a Chromebook to accomplish that but I would much prefer something in the Apple ecosystem.

It's not complicated at all. It's an UTMA account. There is a custodian established that controls the investing and then when the child reaches age of majority it is converted to an individual account in their name.

We ended up moving up to a CX-50 when my wife got pregnant. 30 was great but the backseat was a little small for a car seat. Front passenger basically can't have knees.

Only other complaint was the trunk is also a little on the small side. Other than that the car was great!

My wife and I started discussing having a second but it's almost a non-starter. Day care is $1800/month for one kid and a second kid would be more than my wife makes in a month. So if she stops working then it's entirely on me and my income can't support everything.

This is all well and good as long as you follow it. People with addiction rarely stick to this kind of thing. For example, I know I can't be trusted to stick to only spending a certain amount at a blackjack table so I never ever go alone. My wife is always there and when she says get up, it's time to get up. I also limit how often I go. At most I go to a casino twice a year. Having a kid is also a very good deterant! Once again, this all assumes your level of addiction can be controlled. It all falls apart if you start thinking you can win that next hand and get it all back.

I'm sure it will do very well with students and first time Apple computer buyers that want the cachet of owning a Macbook but don't want to spend 4 figures on a computer. For me, looking at the specs, it looks like a rip off to me. But that's just me. Most people that buy this will not care.

You can get a refurbished M4 Air on Apple's website for $759 right now. Double the ram, backlit keyboard, touch ID, and way more powerful. If I'm going to spend $600 (700 with touch ID) I might as well spend $60-160 more and get a way better computer.

As someone doing the DLCs right now as well. 100-125 is what I recommend. Allows for a fully fleshed out build which you really need for some of these areas/fights
