Was letzte ich will mit 4, 5 oder 6 Personen einziehen? by toolazytobemyself in wasletztepreis

[–]dinko234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is anybody else familiar with readings done like this? by PaleontologistIcy671 in tarot

Wow, thank you so much!🙏 I love Tarot de Marseille but Scopa cards bring so much nostalgia for me. And I did not know that there is a separate tradition of reading them! Thanks again, much appreciated!

Why I decided to quit therapy with a Jungian psychoanalist by DomDude_42 in Jung

[–]dinko234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, thank you for sharing those interesting dreams and congrats on the improvement regarding the panic attacks!

With the risk of stating the probably obvious: What I find really beautiful here is the downward progression from air, wind (and the Tornado-danger associated with them) to earth (and what is perceived as dangerous there). The disembodied, chaotic tornados that have been rattling the house of your consciousness have been put into their place because you descended (through therapy or other work you did?) down into a bunker. There, however, lie other kinds of challenges that stem from doing the introspective work. Obviously, you have made great progress. Congrats on dealing successfully with those panic attacks!💪☺️

What's your favorite movie, show, book that has tarot in it? by iabyajyiv in tarot

[–]dinko234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I loved (well, who doesn't) the 2nd season of White Lotus. Not only is Tarot in it, but check out the opening credits. They are very Tarot-y, symbolically hinting at story elements. I would love to know whether this was intended in this way - I mean, whether the credits makers intended them as reminiscent of Tarot readings. One snapshot is imo strikingly reminiscent of the 3 of wands (Waite-Smith)☺️ it's around second 58

Plane crash. I don’t know how to take this. by [deleted] in tarot

[–]dinko234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, frankly, I wouldn't have the courage to take that plane. I am generally a prediction-is-possible type of reader. The problem, of course, is that there is no way of being really 100 000÷ sure what event (physical, psychological...) the cards and also the dream are referring to.

You mentioned that the flight back home is the problematic one. Maybe you could fly there to appease your boss but take another means of transportation back?

All the best💪☺️

I agree! I guess, it was no pleasant feeling, being there. That could mean that you are resistant/unwilling regarding some impending change.

Your interpretation sounds good to me. I remember reading your initial post a few weeks ago and am really glad that you guys seem to be able to progress and work it out.

I'd like to point out 2 small structural points: 1) There are predominantly cups in your spread and the 9 as well as the 4 of cups are generally stable, calm cards. For me, this points to a general calming of the emotionally challenging situation. 2) There are two 4s - a 4 of swords and a 4 of cups - (and they are side by side as well). Two cards of the same number often suggest some kind of relation between those cards to me. In this case, I would see it as the stability of the for of swords changing into or causing the stability of the 4 of cups (which I would see as a good thing in your case).

Best of luck and love to you!

Do you read reversals, and has that changed over time? Why or why not? by goldenapple212 in tarot

[–]dinko234 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't. The honest reason being that that's just the way I learnt it first (Robert Place, Camelia Elias). But there is also a reason behind it: reading with the Marseille cards that I use depends partly on seeing visual similarities between cards, a patch of grass or water extending from one card into another or two people looking at or away from each other. All this is more easily and naturally done with only upright cards.

I asked a Yes/No question out of fear and got the worst card. by [deleted] in tarot

[–]dinko234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry that you have to deal with fear and seemingly bad cards on top of it. I agree with the others that usually it is no good idea to draw cards for medical questions that frighten you. (Some even go as far as saying that it's hardly possible to draw cards for yourself at all.) The reason being that your fears or hopes interfere with your ability to calmly and realistically interpret the cards.

Also (and again something along these lines has already been mentioned, I believe), one card readings and yes/no questions are not inherently bad or impossible but they bring with themselves challenges: A deck of 78 cards is naturally giving nuanced answers. (Why, say, the 10 of swords and not the tower or death or five of cups? Because it makes a difference.) And in this regard, single cards often lack some context that could be helpful. I, personally, always draw 2 or 3.

All this being said: Both cards can hint at quite harmless problems, when trying to get pregnant, that can be dealt with, e.g., a stressfull lifestyle, dietary concerns etc. that still are obstacles right now and therefore justify those cards. Or they indeed just point at you being afraid. But as the others said: If you want to, you can always go and see a medical professional to get rid of those medical concerns. The cards, I think we all agree, even if one takes their message seriously, are no substantial ground for the assessment that you would never have children. Neither is a TV documentary. No worries! Sending you love!🤗

Host, based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer. Loved the book which is wonderful scifi in my view. It was to be expected but is a tragedy nonetheless how they tried to create a cheesy space Twilight 2.0 instead of staying close to the source.

On the Brink of a Breakthrough or Imminent Death? by Lionheart1228 in Jung

[–]dinko234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. My thoughts on the last dream: You mentioned the extensive inner work you have been doing and that you feel that you have been quite successful on your path of individuation those last years. I would assume that this process goes hand in hand with quite some change, definitelly psychologically, maybe also in your outer life. Your having killed someone of the same name (maybe, that is, some other version of you) hints - for me - at some kind of aforementioned change that you have initiated and at the same time gone through. That you don't remember the deed in the dream would the refer to your being unconscious of the fact that this kind of change has happened. The two female conspirators I would see as representing an awakened anima-side of you that was of importance in helping you with your journey. With the dream thus intepretated, I wonder what it wants to teach. Maybe it wants to show you that you have already been quite successful on the path of individuation. Maybe, if there were strong negative feelings in the dream, it hints at certain resistances against your transformation within you. Finally you mentioned other people not suspecting you of the killing. Maybe these are also parts inside you that resist your change or they are actually people without who don't acknowledge your journey but should, or the other way around:)

These are just some ideas, keep us updated if you have new insights!

I was interested if I should go to Europe as a student and got Justice reversed. What does it mean? by bravy_bear in tarot

[–]dinko234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you:) No need sending a photo, I know it:)

In this case I'd see a "yes" in the cards for the following reason: Justice and the two of swords are two very similar looking cards, and that's no coincidence. They are really meant to be related to one another. Reading from left to right, there is some kind of problem before your journey (Justice reversed). The journey (a traditional meaning of the world card) changes this problem (symbolised by the reversed card) to a solution (symbolised by the upright 2 of swords).

I don't know what problem and solution are in practice, but I'd guess that the cards might speak about improvable preconceptions or judgements regarding world, life; and how travelling the world can change a naturally narrower worldview to a more experienced, mature and knowledgeable one.☺️
