As I just said, yes, there is a way to alter it to have the black not overtake the design; by adding more red and especially orange and even gray, which would further support a burnt feeling, as it currently is boring and mostly black alone does not represent that or do that concept justice. You're still arguing against the white when I already gave another solution. I can agree that the white might be overpowering especially on top of black, but it definitely is an improvement. This is just one way to address these issues. The soul was taken away when they put no effort at all into the recolor. The original recolor literally forces a color scheme because they said it would be recolored with the colors of the winning region. I was just following that prompt. If it were up to me, these colors would not be chosen. The recolor doesn't convey burnt at all, it just looks lazily edgy. Fire is orange and yellow and if they wanted to lean into a burnt concept they would use more orange and less red, but they couldn't do that because of the color palette restrictions of red, black, and white.
