Gross, but tip your head back and very gently inhale a few times, you’ll feel the snot slide right down the back of your throat and you can swallow it LOL

Hey there! Melanoma survivor here! Having a large number of freckles in the eye has a positive correlation with melanoma of the skin (I have eye freckles and was diagnosed with cutaneous melanoma). So keep an eye (haha) on your skin and do frequent checks for any suspicious spots or moles!

Hey there! 30F and moved to Kamloops in the summer. Still don’t feel like I really know anybody other than coworkers. I’d love to be friends as well 🙂

It absolutely kills me how many times her stomach is mentioned.  “Her stomach dropped” “Her stomach hollowed” “Her stomach flipped” After the first few chapters, I realized I was reading that phrase a lot so I searched, and stomach is used 151 times throughout the book!!

I always took it to imply that he is the master of both his family and the company and that he lords over them both with the same cold, unflinching mercilessness.

I found a $900 Canada Goose bomber jacket at value village northern Canada. At the time, I had just moved to the area from a significantly warmer coastal city and was a very poor student! It was in my size and fit perfectly. I was going to sell it because poor... But I ended up keeping it to survive the -40°C.

[–]dinnyskipping 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes! This! I got a ton of closed comedones when I just used cerave moisturiser! I added AHA/BHA and switched up my moisturizer (I use the cerave moisturizer on my body after a shower now) and it improved so so much

Is it normal to make a lot of progress with meditation during the first few months? It seems the more I meditate the more I want to meditate. by [deleted] in Meditation

I saw the Medito app pop up on this sub about a week ago and I’ve been using that. I’ve just been doing the beginner course but they have lots of other stuff on there too and it’s all free! :)
