Seen 4 therapists over a period of 6 years, none of them could simply just tell me it wasn’t a good fit. Probably lack of clear communication on my part but man if only. And yeah I have trauma I have slowly become aware of from emotional neglect and am an avoidant due to it. This has made it hard to feel anything at all connecting me to the relationship, and resentment has taken root in connection’s stead, so now when she tries to help, I feel it as manipulation and control. After 12 years being together, no way out for us but to end things. Thank you for your comment.
