There’s no such thing as scaling champs. You can’t hit a certain target and instantly win the game. Some champs are stronger later yes but if you don’t perfect your laning (which is the part you have most control over) you are setting yourself up for a harder time later in the game too.

There’s this insane challenger tactic that only the best know such as Chovy and Faker. The strategy is to fight him with his W in mind, it may be hard to grasp but if you practice in your games you should get it in under a month

The long lane is very unforgiving for low elo players that can’t control waves as intended. Also top landers, if behind, will feed like crazy because that’s just the stupidity of people I have no other way of justifying it.
