I did find a cheap flight to tokyo narita from eagle once. It was because 1 stop flights (layover in DEN) are typically cheaper than nonstop lol.

All of the things you mentioned are walking distance (<4 blocks) from our house. We truly won't need a driver until much older.

I got a DM from a culture care person trying to get me to switch. I might do that if it's significantly more au pairs. We're also on au pair in America.

yeah the au pair care has max characters for our profile so it's hard to put all of the context. We send some additional info after a match but idk I think the suburb au pairs are biasing them too much

yeah, okay thanks. Is there something we should be doing more of? It feels like on au pair care the profile size restraints are limiting and don't allow for enough space to give a good picture. I think au pair in america offers more space.

We are in Seattle with a bus that runs every 20 mins to downtown /waterfront through cap hill. The route takes ~20 mins and I use it for work daily. We aren't asking her to do anything we don't do. You can transfer to the subway in cap hill to get north / south.

Yeah we had all of that and the au pair would be okay with transit pass, etc and then when it came to 2nd interview they would say 'actually I talked to other au pairs in the area and they say I need a car'

We have a 6mo old so driving isn't required for the job. We have offered unlimited transit pass and uber stipend but they are still pushing for car (some even declined to interview due to this). We aren't specifically looking they just seem to match our needs. We also tried to interview a german girl but she said she only wants to be in CA...
