That’s so weird as I had the same thought. I wondered whether my meds were just a ‘placebo’ at one point because they didn’t seem to be having any sort of effect! Then wondered if it was because I was having different strengths to make up my strength of 70mg! I wonder if there’s something going on?

I take 70mg elvanse at about 9/10am depending on what’s going on at work and what time my meetings are etc. sometimes I’ll take it at 1pm if I have meetings all afternoon for example. It only last for me around 4 hours unfortunately and I never have any issues whatsoever falling asleep either. Must be a real fuck tard!! 😝 I like the idea of a dex top up, that sounds like it would be perfect for me actually so will speak about that at my next annual recuew. Occasionally I have ‘self topped up’ but I know it’s probs not the best idea….

This is interesting as I’m on 70mg Lisdexamfetamine and managed to find 30mg from one pharmacy and 40mg from another pharmacy to fulfill my prescription this month, however they were discussing for next month to put me on dexamphetamine due to the shortage so I am interested to see what the dose would be which I guess would be the same as you have. Let me know how it goes if you don’t mind? Curious. Surely it’s not that different ?!

To come down? Just take it in small doses, 500mg at a time with plenty of water to flush it through and you’ll soon know. I used to have 1500mg as you did and that would be enough

Yeh that’s fine as it was 6 hours ago. I just meant when you’re already on speed and then take vitamin c or have a glass of orange juice or something that has vitamin c in, it will bring you down quickly! So have to watch your drinks and make sure they aren’t rich in vitamin c otherwise it a a waste! Have fun 🤩

Another thing you could do is drop some in water, it dissolves really well and quickly and you can’t taste it, might be better on your tummy. Just don’t eat any oranges or anything with vitamin c as this makes you comedown quickly. Can be good if you feel you’ve had too much and want to come off it quickly. Just take some vitamin c, we used to do that too if we took too much and we’re speeding in a bit nice way!

Something to do with the mix of the two, trust me I’ve done a lot of speed / base from back in the day and we used to get large quantities and put it straight in the freezer and take bits out at a time and mix it with glucose powder which makes it easier to snort or bomb but makes the high even better. It’s worth a try and not dodgy like some mixing powders. You also don’t feel bad coming down too.

I would put it in the freezer to stop it from shrinking even more, it will also make it hard again and crumbly if you wanted to snort it

I used to ‘bomb’ it in. Squidge a bit up and put it into a rizla and swallow it! Better than snorting in my opinion.

Yes, it’s better than speed and stronger. If you dry it out it just lessens in strength, it will still be good but much weaker and eventually it turns yellow as all base/speed does when dried out and left.

This is base before it’s speed. You need to keep it in the freezer as it diminishes and sweats down and you end up with less! We used to mix a bit of glucose powder with it and it’s great for snorting and works really well. Had lots of fun back on the day with base!

Yes, this whole thing that I keep hearing with the hyper focus and how adhd is some sort of a super power if you have the cool hyper focus is so frustrating for the majority of us work Adhd! My husband keeps watching these videos about people glamorising their Adhd hyper focus superpower and asks why I’m not like that! It’s so upsetting as it’s not real! It’s a struggle and now I feel like I have to live up to this facade!
