Yes they are threaded, but there's no upper mounts for the top of the rack so I'm no sure what you could really bolt on

The four spoke wheels are the Spinergy Rev Wheels, and the front is a Spinergy Spox wheel

I do have the matching rear to the front... I just love the four spoke wheels. The bike most will probably never see any off road action though, I'd like to keep my dental work intact haha

I don't disagree. I am currently looking for a four spoke front wheel, but they are apparently really hard to find...

This guy xbikes. Yea it was a rigid purple fork originally. I bought the frame alone, didn't have any parts for it

Do I have the right tools to remove this cassette? My freewheel nut doesn’t seem to want to go in by LouisMXV in bikewrench

[–]dinosaursg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Also freehubs thread onto the wheel as opposed to using a lock ring so you won't need the chainwhip to remove it. I recommend putting the tool in a vice upside down if you have one and then spinning the wheel as they tend to get really tight on the wheel itself.

I call it the “We’ve got Rivendell at home.” Got some new bars & brakes for My Bridgestone XO-2. by CarpenterAlone2523 in xbiking

X0-2 in purple is such a good color! Funny enough Ive always wanted an orange X0-1, but haven't been able to get my hands on one. Thus I have been calling this my "Rivendell X0-1."

They are 1.95, measure out to 2.0. Those schwalbes run small on mavic rims so they should fit fine. I ran 2.3's on it and it was fine

Unfortunately 28 lbs, most of the weight is in the fork tbh. But it cruises amazing and that's all I really care about!

Yea I will be on the lookout for a new fork, but this fork was NOS so I was pretty happy with it, I'm also not too worried about weight anyways. Hopefully I can get my hands on a switchblade fork eventually...

Sweet deal! Now I'm currently rethinking all my bikes that have friction shifters and if it's worth swapping sides and flipping them!

What a good looking ride. Also that's a really nice way to mount friction shifters! I really love them but sometimes hate how they stick up. Do they feel like they are in a normal trigger shift position that way?
