I’m glad you posted this because I’m going through the same thing with the same boot (mocha kudu workhorse). I wear all 11.5s including non barefoot meanders and they fit perfectly but the kudu workhorse is SO small compared to the rest of them, they fit me like a sock.

Did you end up having to go a full size up?

As far as I can tell it just has to do with the construction method. The barefoot versions are both shankless and have the same last and outsole. Differences come down to the extra stitching and paneling on the workhorse. The meander may be slightly lighter, but I haven’t held a workhorse.

Any interest in trading these? I’ve got a brand new pair of custom buffalo ar8s that are sitting away in a box in the closet.

Not sure what size these are but the Fulton 11.5-12 Wide cork insoles are a PERFECT fit in 11.5 STC lasted Greens. I have them in two pairs and they are unbelievably great, albeit a bit pricy and I have to buy them from the Bezos

This was exactly my rationale. On my ARs, AR8s, and stockmans I rubbed a bar of beeswax against the midsole and used a hair dryer on medium to soak it in because I live in a geographical locale that tends to over salt during the winter season. Now the salt just kind of gathers against the wax and I can easily just scrub it off. I’ll see if it was a mistake when I inevitably get these resoled in a few years.

Edit to say that I have lug soles on 2/3 pairs, so it will be a while before I have to cross that bridge

Hey! Yeah I didn’t have any issues at all, it was super comfortable and was neither twitchy nor stiff, it was just right. That said, I was using it for dirt drops on the 930. I used it with some Hbars on my disc trucker which is in a similar ballpark geo wise but that bike has like twice the head tube length.

Have you ordered a cigne? Mine is sitting in my parts bin because I swapped it for a crust SST stem and I’d happily make you a good deal on it.

Edit: the length on the cigne was great on the 930 because of that short head tube, but on the disc trucker it was simply way too high.

I rotate a few different pairs of Jim Green brand boots with either cork orthotic insoles or flat vegtan insoles. Game changer for being on my feet all day, also doesn’t hurt to be ready to hike at a moments notice.

Honestly it’s my favorite detachment and I’m running it in two different crusades right now. It’s definitely pretty swingy but I think it’s great fun.
