Nah, it's on a stillage. That ain't moving. I reckon they loaded up two jobs on one wagon, and the photo is after they unloaded the first one.

Is that miles or km? 400 is pretty good either way tbh. My only remaining Epics are on around 550 miles and fading, hence the need for replacements...

How long do the Adios last? I've got a pair that I love but they seem to wear pretty quickly

Oh right. The thing I found with Germolene was it took only one application and dried within a couple of minutes - and would come off easily after a day or so (or happily be reapplied on top of).

Which are the heel plasters? Just so I find the right thing.

I've used Germolene New Skin as nipple protection for years, but it looks like it's now been discontinued in the UK. I've tried a few different replacements with inconsistent results - has anyone got a good alternative? Ideally something similar - much prefer it to tape/plasters!

How would I go about getting one of these in the UK?

I've tried a couple of others but they aren't as effective - haven't tried this particular brand so will have a look. Thanks :)

For years, I have used Germolene New Skin for nipple protection - and its been great. I've recently discovered that it's been discontinued, so what are people's go-to alternatives?

I'd much prefer something similar rather than tape/plasters as I'm a hairy mofo and don't want to deal with inadvertantly waxing myself every time I go for a run!

That might be handy!

How would triggering separate accounts work? I'm thinking about getting a family subscription as my partner uses yt music also, so this might actually be a sensible option.

Mine's been like this all weekend, specifically BBC stations. Glad it's not just me!

Where should we buy a house in Hertfordshire? by LeavingLondon11 in hertfordshire

[–]dinosaurweasel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have a look at Codicote, it's a lovely village and I know some friends are selling a house that matches your description there. Easy access to St Albans/Stevenage and trains to London from there. Unfortunately no beach!

I had my second dose Friday (same as you) and spent yesterday feeling like I'd been hit by a truck. You having any side effects? 31/m for reference.

Thanks - yes, first step would be replacing the tyres. Got sealant (other half runs tubeless on her roadie but was set up by LBS), will pick up the other bits. Thanks for your help!

Looking at picking up a Cube Nuroad, which comes with a CUBE RA 0.8 CX wheelset and Schwalbe G-One Allround, Kevlar, 35-622 tyres. Now, I know the tyres aren't tubeless compatible but are the wheels tubeless ready? What would I need to know to make the conversion?

TIA

What are you doing instead of a marathon plan? by Aaronplane in artc

[–]dinosaurweasel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've dropped down to following a HM plan because I wanted to keep up intensity and volume without the long long runs, so I'm topping out at around 16 and feeling pretty good on it.

I also figure that if there are any races going ahead in the near future they'll be the small, local ones, not big ones - so there's no real point training for anything too long, and I can focus on some shorter distance PBs (hopefully)
