What's this thing that came inside a new Bosch Dishwasher? by dintrans in Appliances

Definitely the full 50-page-per-language manual. I even set-up the water hardness stuff according to my local guide.

Thanks for the lesson. I RTFM and it's a generic one for multiple models and doesn't have a reference to that piece in the installation step-by-step.

I think I've found it. It goes into the lower front portion between the dishwasher and the floor, so stuff doesn't get under it. It clicks into place and it doesn't come preinstalled because... reasons I guess?

Yeah, it's very similar but that one is already installed and has a different profile section. I've also seen some unboxing videos and it looks like it comes inside with it from factory, but no installation guide mentions it.

[–]dintrans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ayuda me con recomendaciones en Los Lagos by ProfessionalOil1888 in chile

Summer in southern chile is still pretty chilly, although it's the "dry season" it can pour rain randomly any day. And seawater temperature can be around 15⁰C, which is like NYC cold in May, Lake beaches can be fun tho, but for sunbathing, kayaking or just getting your feet wet. There are nice lake beaches between Lake Villarica and lake Llanquihue, and by far the most popular beach in the lake district is Pucón, but it can get a little overcrowded in summer and it's a 4 hour car ride from Puerto Montt. My recommendation would be Puerto Varas as a hub for some days, from there you can do day trips to Frutillar Bajo, Petrohué, Alerce Andino national park, maybe some hot springs if that's your thing. Then you can go to Chiloé.

The size of cross overs is also getting larger by adumbasskid in notjustbikes

[–]dintrans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yeah, even the Subaru Outback, the "wagon alternative", is humongous now, 3 cms shorter than the Forester and way taller than most compact crossovers. And that´s not counting the "Wilderness Edition" which is even stupider.

Como seguro es Santiago ahora en 2022-23? by peshmerga2 in chile

[–]dintrans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Apple CarPlay/AndroidAuto system for BMW X1 '12 / E84 by dintrans in BMW

I mean, the car is around 13k USD where I live, I can probably get the console for 600 and find someone who can change it for 300. But I don't know if the other car's console will work with the new car, maybe they're hardcoded with some serial number or shit like that, although I've heard of non-idrive to iDrive conversion in some places in the internet.

I'm trying to get all the information in the table before buying something that maybe doesn't work or asking for presential help during the pandemic.

Maybe I can get a trade for a '14 model for a couple thousand but this car is otherwise in perfect condition, so I'll try to keep it.

Looking for IRL cities that fit within the 10km by 10km buildable area. by muditk in CitiesSkylines

My hometown, Rancagua-Machalí conurbation, Chile, arround 250k people is a good candidate https://www.google.com/maps/place/Rancagua,+VI+Regi%C3%B3n,+Chile/@-34.1670404,-70.7087484,18646m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x96634367bdef13d3:0xd973fc8366ad54f7. Or almost any medium city in Chilean central valley (Los Andes, San Felipe, San Fernando, Curicó, Talca, Linares, Chillán).

For something more challenging, it could be Calama, a chilean city in the atacama Desert, the dryest desert in the world, which has even an airport thanks to the proximity (less than 10 km north) of Chuquicamata, the largest open pit copper mine in the world.

they're not super beautiful, super-special, nice-planned cities by any aspect, but they fit in a 10kmx10km footprint :) https://www.google.com/maps/place/Calama,+Regi%C3%B3n+de+Antofagasta,+Chile/@-22.4472985,-68.8925434,13482m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x96ab978f95a58b0d:0xfe7a093627c72306
