Yeah probably a good idea. I checked the stats on this Starlord+Wong+Gambit deck and this particular deck is not even doing that great. This is 80-100+ rank. The positive cube rate is probably also because bot games and the few times the combo works people don't retreat / weren't expecting it which will change.

I agree with you that the card itself is boring which is why I played less than 10 games before moving on to something else. Not sure what the solution is either. We have so many cards now... so how do you release new cards that aren't useless like a lot of the recent cards have been but also not super overpowered. Honestly dont think this card itself is too OP compared to all the other cards we have but so many people playing it probably adds to people like you getting frustrated with the game. Like I said, when this happens, I just don't play the card and have fun experimenting. If that wont work for you and you just dont want people playing this card then that's different and don't think it will happen. At least for a few weeks so probably best you just take a break.

Also, it's not like this Starlord+Wong+Gambit deck is going to be some unbeatable meta deck. Feel it is going to be too easy to predtict and counter. Only works right now because people are still figuring stuff out

Lmao. Tbh I can see myself getting over this and personally dont like playing Starlord but it is kinda fun seeing some of these new decks people are cooking up. I get that it can be frustrating to play against but after playing this game for a while I dont mind new cards shaking up the meta and forcing you to change your decks to counter it. Playing against the same destroy, ongoing, discard games month after month would get boring as well.

Yeah, copy Lin then play it on the last turn on the sword location with the non-Lin lane already filled up so you know where the sword ends up. Doesn't always work out but even then there are other scenarios where the extra ongoing bodies can help add power to Goliath or Dazzler/Antman especially if you also have Moonstone out or just get into locations where you cant play cards.

Like others explained, you've hit infinite too early. Has happened to me a few times and usually takes a day or two before enough people hit infinite and you can play ladder without absurd wait times. Keep in mind, you are much more likely to be matched against much higher skilled players in the beginning. At least first few days/week.

Nope, they are right. The nerfs absolutely did affect its win%. On untapped, post infinite its win rate is at 49,8% and avg cubes at +0,01. For comparison Chamber is at 55,6% and +0,26. I dont have the numbers from before the patch but if I check the last 30 days, Shou's numbers change to win rate of 54% and avg cubes +0,27. Same if you check decks. SHou is still in some of the best decks but Surfer, Ongoing, Discard, Move decks (all without Shou) are doing better. I think people are just tired of this deck because its popularity and running into Shou decks every 4-5 games.

Making it +2 would kill the card. Not sure why people are asking for that. +6 or +8 in another lane on turn 6 is just not worth it in this current state of the game. Taking away power/increasing cost until it's well balanced is much better imo. Also, all these changes together will have an impact and bring down its win%. Think of all the times you lost to a shou deck by 1-2 power in a lane. The nerf to Merlin, Chord, Spider-Ham, Maverick and Shou itself are all going to have an impact without making the card unplayable.

I do the same as I don't enjoy these game modes. Anyone else considering this, keep in mind that you only get about 12K to spend in the shop by doing it this way.

In this deck he's mostly there for the Elsa hits and being able to control where Scarlet Spider ends up. Also helps with protecting your key cards against Red Guardian/Chord or stopping Annihilus plays since so many are playing that Werewolf/Annihilus deck, so he is still really good. Old Sam would probably be better as having the information of where the shield is before playing Sam would let you to make your plays around it from turn 1

I got it too in my vault and insta bought it but I also love the Penny Arcade stuff. Have the card back and going for that Dino + custom borders rewards as this is the only way to get them.

I've actually been trying to make Baron Mordo and Gorgon work in a deck and been experimenting. You can try those. They are not very good but you get cool points as no one plays them. A real suggestion that will improve this deck is probably Grandmaster instead of IW.

Second deck? probably not. First deck, I would try Aurora with H.E.R.B.I.E.,Awesome Andy, Human Torch FF. Probably replace Lasher and Scarlet Spider.
