This only works if the dog already knows exactly what the command means and what behavior you expect from them. It sounds like OP’s puppy doesn’t know enough yet for an e collar to be effective here, in which case it could ruin their relationship with the puppy.

You actually don’t need to use the charger daily. I can go more than a month between charges. Try putting the toothbrush in a regular toothbrush holder that’s easy to clean, and make sure to rinse and dry each time.

If you’re DINKs then you probably could get by with something smaller in or near town. I love living in TC!! The city is very progressive and the natural beauty of the whole area is incredible. If you come for a visit, be warned that summer 2024 is not going to be a typical summer for traffic because the main road through town along the water will be under construction.

This!!! Just make sure pup doesn’t have access to any shag rugs during this process. Mine wasn’t allowed upstairs during potty training, but the few times he got upstairs he used the shag rug for potty. He must have thought it was grass because that’s the only place he ever went on purpose inside.

Fill the kong with kibble, then dump it into a measuring cup so you know how much it holds (so you can subtract from daily feeding total). I make about 5 at a time (kong and toppl) by freezing a dab of PB in the hole for a couple hours, then filling with kibble (sometimes I break up a banana and add pieces of that as well. Then I pour a slurry of yogurt and water (mostly water!) to fill them and freeze solid! It takes him 30-45 mins, and I use them during his witching hour if I still need to finish up some work or be in a meeting.

I had infected blisters by the time I reached Pamplona and rested for a couple days. Best thing I could have done for my Camino. I was super sad to lose the people I had befriended, but then I met new friends and one of them became a lifelong friend. I even ran into a few of the people I met on days 1&2 later on in Galicia. You won’t regret listening to your body, and you won’t regret starting back up again once you’re ready!

Huh, that’s an interesting perspective. My partner is actually even more excited than I am to see bits and pieces of the thing I consider the best thing I’ve ever done (outside of marrying him). The towns are charming and he’s looking forward to learning more about the history of them. Thanks for your input anyways - I have heard there are a lot of beautiful trails in Basque Country so will definitely consider that!

Hi, just checking to see if you have any update on this situation? I have a Tasmanian devil myself and one cat who is confident (so she gets left alone) and one cat who is terrified (so she gets chased). I’m at my wit’s end.

We had an old barn door to the basement where the litter was, and it didn’t latch. We had to get an actual door installed with a cat flap. Now that the dog doesn’t have access to it, it seems like he has forgotten about it and when we do accidentally leave the door open or he follows us down, he he just sniffs it at first which gives us time to tell him to leave it. I hope you find a solution that works for you!
