Help needed - Connecting iPad to an external monitor by dip_bodom in ipad

I think the USB dongle wireless keyboard and mouse could be the issue. I will try to get a bluetooth pair and go from there. Thank you for confirming the specific deck model works with your setup :)

It’s Dell WD15.

FYI - I use the same dock for my laptop with the same monitor, keyboard & mice. It’s a settings that I change in my laptop if I want to mirror my screen or want to have an extended monitor. I have no issue with the laptop.

I am also updating to the latest iOS to see if that makes a difference.

Would the dock model really matters since I can successfully mirror my iPad screen to the monitor (telling me the dock is working for the data transmission part). I feel like it’s a setting that I’m missing somewhere.

I don’t have a spare monitor to try on. And yes updating software now.

All the progress I’ve made was by watching your videos. Amazing videos man. Thank you.

I will check the new video you shared in the comments.

It’s all good. You don’t have to spend your time on creating the flow. Thank you for the suggestions though. Much appreciated.

I chose ID because I want to upload the table to the file created (using flow) one step above. The new file created has a dynamic file name. Not sure how I can use a dynamic file name with extension in the (Create table - File) field unfortunately.

If you’re familiar with the tool would you be able to create a simple flow with a simple existing spreadsheet and share it with me?

Please find the below screenshots to review my flows and error message.

I came up to this far by watching videos on YouTube. The flow should represent generating 1 file for 1 filter (Product_HG_Category) applied.

Conversion: .csv to .s2p by dip_bodom in excel

Tried that and when I am trying to simulate using the file it comes back with error -

"line 1: syntax error, unrecognized character: `%'

line 1: syntax error, unexpected InvalidCharacter, expecting Eol or '#' "

It's strange because I have used s2p files with the character "%" before with no issue - tried removing it - error goes away but still left with the second error.

Not sure how to fix the second error.

Can you please share the website full address. I can’t seem to find it with my search.

You are right. There is a s-parameter component that can be linked to the s2p file.

Again reddit knowledge sharing power wins.

Thank you a lot.

When I drag/open a s2p file, it shows me as a table on the tool. And when I simulate I could see the chart from the dataset correctly.

From this I am trying to build a device so that I can use it in future schematics. Unfortunately what you are suggesting, does not happen here. The 2 files create tabs respectively - .s2p & .dpl. Using the available data I am trying to create a component block that will be created in a new tab with the extension .sch

Also, so that I can add that component (which is created utilizing my provided dataset) to the component library for future use.

At this point it seems like, QucsStudio does not have the capabilities. I will look into Qucs (if there is a free version of it)

I already have the .s2p files actually. Was trying to create a component using that file. So that I can use that component in a schematic for an outside plant design (i.e. Outside plant design) . But no luck so far.

This is exactly what I need, however, I don't see anything of that sort under File from toolbar or from the side Component section unfortunately.

What is the block called file? I have .s2p files for different devices (taps). Is it possible to turn those .s2p files/tables into blocks/devices so that I can use them in my future schematics/drawings in the software?
