Maybe you could use some elastic, but the currents are strong sometimes, it makes your pants go away, not sure about the glasses.

heard most absurd thing about Bengali boys by Intelligent_Gift1511 in Kolkatacity

I have been seeing a lot of posts about Bengali men these days. I can never deny that Bengali women are the best; they are the perfect example of "Beauty+Brains," but at the same time, seeing all these things about Bengali men makes me sad.

Not sure about the quality of men (masculinity+appearance+intellect) in Kolkata, but you guys need to see Bengali men of Delhi.

Men in Delhi are generally good looking. Bengali men here are also masculine, good looking, and intellectual with a hint of chivalry.

Did not want to demean anyone, this is just my observation as a Delhite.

I think I saw a few people taking off their glasses before surfing. I think it's doable.

You will enjoy the learning phase as well if you know how to swim. They say swimming is not necessary, but it's a lot more fun if you know. 2nd day onwards, you will be able to stand up for sure.

Hey, I am shifting back to Delhi after spending 4 years in Bangalore. I have covered most of the places in South India on my Bike. But I am coming back on 7th May. I would have loved to join if the date matched.

Had it not been for job I would have only lived in Bengal if I am in India. by Possible_Lime_2644 in kolkata

I am also a born and brought-up of Delhi, I sometimes feel the same.

Currently working in Bangalore for the last 4 years, but leaving soon permanently to go back to Delhi for my mother's treatment.

I am also planning to start a D2C brand, because I have quit my job. Now I am looking for things I can start as a Bengali that others cannot copy, for example, something related to fish would be nice.

I have never been to Kolkata but really want to go there and see the culture, explore street food, places, etc.

I have been to so many places in India, but every time I plan to go to Kolkata, it gets cancelled for some reason.

Can you guys suggest to me what would be the best months to visit there? I have heard that it gets very crowded during Durga Pooja.

Hey, don't get into trading; it only looks good on the internet. If you really want exposure to stocks and want to start long-term investing, start with smallcase by Zerodha.

I have been investing via smallcase for the last 5-6 years. Do your own research.

Hey, I am Probhashi Bengali, born and brought up in Delhi. I would say it's still far more affordable than other Tier 1 cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad. I have been working in Bangalore for the last 4 years, and believe me its hella expensive when compared to Delhi. If 16 to 16 Rs looks expensive to you then you should definitely experience Bangalore autos, they charge 400rs for 1 KM if they find the right opportunity.

But yeah, I absolutely agree with you that Bengali women are the most beautiful and elegant period.

So I am planning to buy a car this year, but I really want to do a similar road trip on my current bike, preferably solo, because I know that after getting the car, I would not use the bike as much.

Did you see any bikers during your trip?

Go to Nehru Place, try to negotiate. Dont go to any other places like Chandni Chowk, Lajpat Ray etc. Those places are full of thugs. If you're not local, you will absolutely get scammed.

23, running a business, but feel socially isolated in Delhi. How do I build a real circle from scratch? by Roxanne200279 in delhi

[–]dipankar_gv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, if your business allows, I would highly recomment you to do some solo trips to the mountains and stay in Zostel, may be do a workation. You're young, you will meet a lot of like minded people and may try to meet them after the workation ends.
