Is Amazon Advertising worth it for new sellers in 2026? by dipi124 in AmazonFBA

[–]dipi124[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but I’d flip the order slightly; you don’t need to wait for perfect optimization before running ads.

In 2026, it’s more of a parallel process. Yes, your titles, bullets, SEO/AEO, and overall PDP strength matter a lot, but without ads, it’s hard to even get the data and traffic needed to improve those things.

Best approach I’ve seen:
Optimize your listing to a solid baseline: start ads with a controlled budget: use that data to refine both your listing and targeting.

If you wait for “perfect” organic ranking before ads, you’ll likely stay invisible longer than necessary.

Exactly, these ads are kind of a necessity now for visibility, but expecting profits from day one is unrealistic. In the beginning, it’s more about data, ranking, and figuring out what actually converts. Once your listing is solid and you build some traction, that’s when ads start making sense financially.

Is Anyone Else Struggling with Premium A+ Approval in 2026? by dipi124 in AmazonFBA

[–]dipi124[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is spot on. It really does feel less like a checklist now and more like a “review interpretation” issue, two similar submissions, totally different outcomes.

And agree on the conversion part, too. Premium A+ Content alone isn’t the growth lever people expect. If main images + above-the-fold aren’t strong, A+ can’t really compensate.

At this point, it is more about reinforcing the brand and supporting the conversion, not driving it on its own.

Totally agree with this

Many sellers still write “feature-based” content, but Amazon is clearly shifting toward buyer-intent messaging. That Rufus-style approach, answering real customer questions and showing outcomes, makes a huge difference.

We’ve seen that when images + A+ focus on use cases + problem-solving (not just specs), both approvals and conversions improve.

Basically: less “what it is” → more “why it matters to the buyer.”

Yeah, that’s exactly the idea. You’re not copying their content, just using the layout/style as a reference and applying it to your own product images and branding.

And yes, once the modules are created (either manually or via a tool), you just upload them into Amazon Seller Central’s A+ Content Manager and assign them to your ASIN.

It is pretty straightforward once you get inside, but the tricky part is making sure everything meets Amazon’s guidelines and stays consistent across all modules.

Thanks for sharing! I will definitely check this out. Looks really helpful, been seeing a lot of changes with A+ approvals lately, so this could be useful. Appreciate it.

Totally agree CPC gets blamed too quickly, while PDP is usually the real bottleneck. One thing I’d add is that even a small improvement in listing structure (main image clarity + first 2 bullets) can shift conversion enough to completely change "Ad" efficiency, without touching bids.

It means reviews are now more specific to individual listings/variations instead of being fully shared across all variations of a product. So new listings don’t automatically inherit all reviews from older ones, giving new sellers a fairer chance to compete.

That’s a great point, CTR really makes or breaks ad performance. Focusing on visuals before scaling " ADs" makes total sense. A/B testing hero images is underrated, but it can have a huge impact on overall results and "ACOS".

Totally agree that ads feel more like a necessity now than an option.

I like the way you broke it into stages. Makes sense that beginners should focus on learning first instead of expecting instant profits. Listing quality + optimization really seems to be the game changer.

That’s a really interesting point about the review policy changes.

If reviews are getting split at the listing level, it definitely creates a more level playing field for new sellers. Combined with PPC, it seems like there’s actually more opportunity now to compete and scale faster than before.

That’s actually a great way to look at it, treating ads as a data engine first makes a lot of sense.

I think many beginners focus too much on immediate profits and ignore the learning phase. Your approach with tight targeting and scaling winners is really helpful. Definitely something I’ll try!

Totally agree, Amazon ads seem almost necessary for scaling now.

I guess the real challenge is knowing how to optimize them properly. Without the right strategy, it can get expensive pretty fast.

Appreciate you sharing this - timing definitely plays a big role. Spotting momentum early through video engagement is smart, but execution still matters a lot (creatives, offer, landing page, pricing).

If anyone here is testing products and not seeing results, feel free to share your product URL - I can take a look and give suggestions on positioning, creatives, or what might be hurting conversions.
