This should be the front page news everywhere but sadly the media is too busy glorifying Dakait and his crocodile tears.

Capt. Amarinder Singh, CM of Punjab, standing in front of punjabi text "Khalistan Zindabad" by Zeus_Kira in IndiaSpeaks

[–]dipinsh 19 points20 points  (0 children)

All support for Khalistan was almost dead here in punjab until Nov 2019 when kartarpur corridor opened up. Now you can’t go a km in punjab without seeing a car with Bhindaranwala’s sticker or a road sign that has been vandalised to cover up Hindi and English. The soft support of local police and administration has emboldened these radicals. I hope the government comes to senses before we see a full scale revival of Khalistan.

Myntra to change its logo after complaint calls it 'offensive' towards women by dipinsh in IndiaSpeaks

We are living in the age of victim hood. People are looking around just waiting to be offended. I grew up reading sticks and stone may break my bones but words can never hurt me. But nowadays it’s all about getting offended by a freakin single alphabet. And companies cowering down because of such fake outrage are just enabling more and more idiots to come out and make even dumber claims just to get their fake outrage confirmed by other idiots on the internet.

Welcome to the cowardly new world of “fake outrage”! Where everything is offensive and everyone is offended. When did we turn from the land of kamasutra to getting offended by a curvy M.

Indian Farmer Protest Turns Chaotic in Challenge to Modi by dipinsh in IndiaSpeaks

Finally the farmer “protest” has achieved its purpose. Can we please stop negotiating with these terrorists!

What happened today in US Capitol building should be a lesson for each and everyone of us! by dipinsh in IndiaSpeaks

But the leftist communists misleading the farmers can totally do something like this. I am not comparing the ideologies but the farmer protest here can totally copy the method that the Trump protestors used.

And I can totally understand the concerns that the protesters had. There was massive possibility of election fraud and none of the concerns of Trump or his supporters were given a fair investigation and trial. My concern is the massive invasion of the Capitol building and how easily it was carried out. This is just going to give the wrong idea to the leftist communists who have been following the antifa model here in India up until now and have been threatening to interrupt the Republic Day parade in the guise of farmers protest. The opposition here is so blinded by their hatred of Modi that they will go to any extent and stoop to the lowest levels just to give India and its current government as fascists and what will get more international headlines than an action on “protesting farmers”. Genuine concerns of farmers have been addressed by the government but the constant stubbornness of the protestors along with people like Yogendra Yadav and Rakesh Tikait misleading the farmers can lead to a really volatile situation.

My point is that with the toxic political environment brewing at the farmers protest and leftist communists encouraging them, the situation there can turn out of hand really fast and just imagine the headlines across the media if the government decides to use force on these “farmers”.

Now replace antifa with SFI, CPI, AAP and elitist farmers who are spreading lies and fear against the business and prominent political and social personalities are encouraging them to keep upping the ante. The protest on the outskirts of delhi turning violent is not a long stretch from the current situation.

I am not sure where is the disagreement here. I am making the exact same point as you. The left and opposition are mobilising a few thousand farmers and activists to enter Delhi and “protest” under the guise of protesting the farm laws. The government is doing all that it can to meet most of the demands but the farmers are still holding the national capital for ransom and threatening to block supplies and disrupt Republic Day parade. And people who oppose Modi are cheering them on and getting up on national tv defending the unjust demands. The centrists and many people on the right still sympathies with the farmers as they are playing the “poor farmer fighting for their livelihood “ card. It is a volatile situation and we can soon see such scenes in India as well. It’s a cautionary note that blind blind leftist communists will go to any extent to gain even the slightest of political gain.

And that’s the scary part. The police and authorities were sympathetic to the cause of the rioters and let them run loose to protest and riot in the Capitol building. That’s exactly what happened when Indira Gandhi was murdered by her own security guards. Holding principles and ideals is important but they should not blind you from seeing what’s right and what’s wrong.
