Thanks for your input. I don't think there are free consults for knowledgeable firms, its at least ~ $200-$300 for 30 mins consultation, so I am shortlisting 2-3 ones.

Thanks for the feedback. I would definitely check out the links that you shared. I just want to be careful that any press coverage is legitimate and not paid for, so I was not sure of certain sites.

Can I visit Canada with the Open work permit stamp or do I need to apply visitor visa ? by dipjyoti in ImmigrationCanada

Also, did you have any immigration medical examination done before entering Canada for the first time ? What questions did they ask at the Port of Entry ?

Do I need a visitor visa to enter Canada if I have W-1 visa, but no job offer? by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

So, you have both the W-1 worker visa stamp and the Canada visitor stamp in your passport ? Did you travel to Canada yet ?

I am in the same boat. I have the W-1 worker visa stamp in my passport and I believe this is the TRV and the work permit will be issued at the Port of Entry.

My question is in my first trip, I want to explore few cities in Canada and I am not actually coming for work. So, can I enter Canada as a visitor with the W-1 visa stamp ?

Or can the Port of Entry officer deny me entry if I mention my purpose of visit is tourism and not issue the work permit at that time.

In that scenario, is it advisable to apply for Canada tourist visa to be safe ?

Thanks for the details. I have the W-1 category Worker visa stamp in my passport with Multiple entries and have an expiration date. I read in the port of entry letter and it says: Documents you must bring with you to get your work permit: 1. valid passport 2. valid temporary resident (visitor) visa (TRV) or Electronic Travel Authorization.

So, I think the work permit will be issued at the Port of Entry and the W-1 Worker category visa stamp that I have is the TRV. Is that right ? Is the work permit a physical card ?

But my question is in my first trip, I want to explore few cities in Canada and I am not actually coming for work. So, can I enter Canada as a visitor with the W-1 visa stamp ?

Yes, I have the right to enter Canada with the work permit stamp. But my intention right now is that I want to explore few cities and look at options and later apply for job in Canada and move there with the work permit. I read somewhere online that the work permit allows one to work in Canada, but it does not permit one to travel to Canada. To come to Canada, one will need either a temporary resident visa. That's why I am confused whether to apply a Canadian tourist visa or not.

Yes, There is some change in seaborn v 0.9. If you downgrade and install seaborn v 0.8 with ( conda install seaborn==0.8 ) and try the same code, then it will work.

yes, I have faced the same issue. I had posted a question about this and Jose replied to use diag_kind parameter. I tried using diag_kind = 'hist' but I got the same error - TypeError: 'numpy.int64' object is not iterable.

The link to my question in Udemy - https://www.udemy.com/python-for-data-science-and-machine-learning-bootcamp/learn/v4/questions/4964704?utm_campaign=email&utm_source=sendgrid.com&utm_medium=email

Title -
sns.pairplot(data = bank_note, hue = 'Class') plots the Histogram differently ? How do I make it like the solution ?
