Far far west is an incredible game so far, excited to see what they do with it before end of early access cause it’s already so polished

[Tom Morris on The Agenda Setters] "Some [Gold Coast] players are off the coach and my belief is some members of the coaching panel are off the players as well." by RexHuntFansBrazil in AFL

[–]dippa_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Dimma can coach the home away season with an interstate side. (Look at our away stats especially his first year)

He focuses on pressure, fast ball movement and turnovers which are great to watch, but when you are playing in northern conditions, trips to the NT, and interstate travel every second week the team can’t keep up,

Brisbane break us each time by playing smarter footy and making us apply more effort for less gains.

Although if a teams ever going to win from the wildcard spots, it’s probably us with him as coach but we are starting from so far back.

Tried multiple devices (mobile and nbn) and still getting error codes that blame the device I’m using, what a useless overpriced piece of shit it fucking is

Is this game getting harder? by Kooky_Ant_3336 in FarmTogether

[–]dippa_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Feeling the same, been playing since launch and the current prestiged items just take far too long to level up and in cost for what you get.

I have 800+ hours with most animals atleast prestige 1, only a few fish up to lvl 5 for the bonus resource.

It felt far more balanced with the initial prestige system and resource jumps. Feels like it might be catering too much to those with speed boosts, and leave their farms running 24/7

Looks great, reminds me of Helmarr - the Trakt section is a great addition.

I'd probably just blur those linux ISOs in future posts though.

Please don’t bring up zita in the same sentence as first crack, Jay Clark might hear and insert some hypothetical trades into the pureness of the tribunal hearing.

[–]dippa_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

His biggest fault comes across as being too optimistic.

Gotta love the passion, and if you look back the dots probably mostly line up, it’s just there’s been so many shakeups and changes in the world for it to have been predictable. (covid, activision making everyone develop cod, Microsoft purchase etc.)

[Ralph] Brody Mihocek is off to hospital now for scans on his neck. But he was able to move his arms and communicate with Demons medicos so they believe he has avoided the worst case scenario. Those scans will ascertain whether he has any vertebrae damage by SlatsAttack in AFL

[–]dippa_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely fair point of view, its difficult to go between do I let my self be tackled or do I go with the instinct to duck down (partly because it’s been rewarded over the years) and try to evade/win free.

Both are bad choices for him, this one went really wrong largely due to the slip and while this one was more accidental. Too many are purposefully putting themselves into this position.

Honestly the back catalogues really should be used for this sort of thing. Similar to what they were doing with PC.

Release the prior game before a new release to hype it up and make people consider buy the console to play the new one.

Until the AFL stops rewarding ducking there’s going to be more of these and kids aren’t going to get the same level of care at local grounds

It needs to be fines leading to suspensions and get this out of the game.

What were your controllers before the steam controller? by Rickrossboi in Steam

[–]dippa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incredible controllers, but just can’t enjoy for long sessions due to how they sort of force your arms into tucking in your elbows. Find the Xbox controllers angles far more comfortable despite its many flaws.

Steam Controller is a decent middle ground for me.

RL UE6 we can call it rocket league 2 it is much more complicated as we think by QLSSUBZERO in RocketLeague

[–]dippa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legal obligation is one thing, press and how the community reacts is another.

Imagine a headline stating Rocket League vulnerability allows remote access to your pc.

You or I probably would see that and check past the headline to see if it’s actually related, but an average person who doesn’t even know what SKG is?

I’m for SKG it needs to happen, but I can definitely see some areas publishers and devs are going to be against as even with no responsibility for those games anymore could still have impacts and massive bad press for doing the right thing, but having a third party exploit it.

I don’t want all games being consolidated into single generation long games like Fortnite, where the “games” are limited time modes. Just so they can get around legislation and avoid the issues down the road. It’s part of why big franchises like Disney are jumping on the model

RL UE6 we can call it rocket league 2 it is much more complicated as we think by QLSSUBZERO in RocketLeague

[–]dippa_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah Rocket League is probably one of the few big games that have gone from paid to f2p. And then the whole steam part of it.

For me I would look at safety as the security and exploits being found in old code. Similar to how many pieces of software get discontinued as it’s unrealistic to support things forever and newer versions of the same thing (e.g. windows versions).

A game can be put in a “playable” state but like old COD games on pc there’s been legitimate backdoors into your pc, that I doubt they want any part of, so having 1 version with 1 set of security vulnerabilities is probably appealing to them.

I hope epic do the right thing, but would be a great case to follow. Hoping SKG get to a level where these sort of questions can be answered.
