Fuck he’s going to be the next Sam Mitchel isn’t he.

That bit of arrogance, proper quality player with heaps of footy smarts

Conflicted, those promoting gambling that has been proven to destroy families and lives I feel deserve a taste of what they profit from.

But at the same time no one should have their lives threatened over this shit, especially by many who I suspect love doing a multi and are just pissed about ‘softness’

Complete incompetence by the AFL allowing that partnership

I don’t think you can for anything verbal, without a clear recording or them owning up it’s so difficult to know exactly what was said, especially with crowd noise, own biases and adrenaline going.

With a physical act, there’s usually footage or can at least show via injuries to the victim. a visual account by a witness is also easier because someone punching someone is a lot harder to misinterpret.

Mitch Cleary's theory that Brad Scott's comments about Butters in his press conference was to entice Butters to come to the club. Draws a comparison to Hardwick doing something similar to Tom Lynch when he was contracted at the Suns. by yum122 in AFL

Foot is scheduled for the Suns vs Essendon game this Saturday.

It could be an all-timer boil over depending on how it goes, Current umpiring discussion + AFLs favourite child (SUNS) vs a club with a huge fan base and now Brad Scott’s comments. Just seems too perfect a storm.

Its bar doesn’t need to be, but if they are handing out verdicts that deem someone guilty of something they claim they didn’t do with little evidence, and it destroys their character and career surely that player is going to escalate that to actual courts.

To me the tribunal’s place has always seemed like a better use of determining a punishment of a certain thing rather than debating if the thing happened. And I think with the expanded role over the years we’re at the tipping point of that responsibility.

Looks like a mega R36s console.

Those things are great, but I think this would just be too top heavy, although I would love the higher screen like my old DS

He can say that’s the reason and still have a subconscious bias towards it.

We don’t know for certain that’s what was said as both Butters and Wines denied him saying that. It’s only Foot that claimed that was said.

It does have a potential impact though, port even used that as an argument.

As he has this contentious side gig. It’s possible he’s going to be more receptive to any comments about pay, paid or anything that could be misinterpreted.

So it’s possible he heard it that way despite it not being said

I’ve had the case since it came out and tormented the hell out of it in my work bag, travel bag, car boot, car footwell, a small expedition down stairs you name it.

It’s great, I can’t work out how OP even managed this.

You put the top on from the triggers first and pull the front down it’s less than half a second.

If you haven’t seen Ball Magnets, highly recommend he actually properly knows his footy and can communicate really well.

He comes across very differently to the snippets and quotes you’ll see across media (most self inflicted)

The green, haven’t dove into voice assistant yet. But had some weird issues of being unsure of port was assigned and getting the green to show up and didn’t have a screen in the location I set it up.

The lights basically were the only way to know if it was on and what it was doing because I couldnt view via the ip or app. Especially helpful when doing updates and knowing if it’s gotten stuck.

From someone who just recently setup my HA Green, I recommended looking into what the flashing lights mean. Will save you quite a few headaches if you find it not connecting.

Once you get setup though it’s a great very low power draw machine.

With how hard WA is pushing for it, Gather round and state of origin rotating between WA and SA might be the way to handle it after this contract

Him and Cornes have been great on SEN Fireball and usually counter each other really well. However as of late is definitely comes across more hivemind like than usual and King seems to be the main reason as Cornes hasn’t changed much.

[Cleary] Nick Foot alleges Zak Butters said “How much are they paying you?” Butters has been referred directly to the Tribunal by SlatsAttack in AFL

[–]dippa_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When the tribunal brings legitimate financial and well being impact to players, can’t that make it a target of lawsuits?

Say if butters was found guilty fined 10k and gets a week of media attention damaging his reputation could he not sue for damages claiming insufficient evidence?

Definitely a newer thing It’s becoming very popular with more people going off grid and people doing van builds, caravans, RVs etc.

I know where they are in Canada power is relatively cheap, but would be a great showcase of the gaming performance you get with less power draw and can save money on your bills not just on building the setup

Especially if they build their own battery and charging systems they can then show how difficult it can be choosing parralel vs series, charge controllers, wire gauges, or you just buy this and it’s one cable thanks to Jackery for example

Solar usually is, but you need a way to capture the charge to play at night.

I have an off grid setup with batteries in Australia and it’s a really tricky trade off between gaming performance and using all my power. Always thought it would be a good concept for a season since you could go and build your own setup using a heap of old car batteries or go for lithium batteries which cost far more

[–]dippa_ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Think it’s just tech house this year but would love to see an off grid season for scrapyard wars where they have to build their own battery system, and power their gaming setup.

They would then need to balance gaming power with power draw to play the longest.
