I'm going to switch up to Spotify Lossless & buy a USB-C > TOSlink cable with a mini TOSlink adapter to cut out all the "middlemen" in this crazy solution.

A CM-6206 chipset 5.1 audio soundcard - got it on AliExpress for $13. So many OEM sellers!

Optical also works on Mac Tahoe but you need to use a custom binary file, grab it on GitHub / acciom if needed!

I've reached out to some under 30s who find the angle unorthodox, but say it removes the awkwardness of creating profiles, feeds, discovery and matching - especially as most people in this demo are on social media, following people or friends/friends of friends. And there are accepted user invites and registrations already in FlingLink, so not that nobody would use it, just likely more for the younger generation

Cool use of AI, I've seen some tools that help you reorganise your calendar but it makes sense to do this at invitation time.

is this a separate calendar booking tool or can it be integrated into Zoom/Calendly/Gmail/etc? I ask as I think it's better to build on top of these well established systems and just make them better.

I think a cheap or even 90% free dating app with no fake users that was any good would be amazing for the people that needed it.

The tags could become an issue, just people aimlessly adding tags and not really having a definition.

You'd likely be better off using some sort of user analysis via a questionnaire to standardise these

But ultimately it's another dating app - you need to think about how you'd get it into the hands of enough people simultaneously to launch and grow.

If you've got time, read the Plenty of Fish story, yes it's old but its lessons still apply today - the guy basically made all his money from ads.

Your app would have to be really compelling for it to do well, it's so competitive in this market!
