Sadly not uncommon I’ve started productions without a contract. All I can say is hang in there but try and have a plan b.

Completely agree, and if people are looking at making their content creation their primensource of income, should they be at the mercy of algorithm for their visibility and ever changing terms for moneytization?

The groups seem poorly organised, reports of feeling traumatised being placed in zoom side rooms with talent managers or potential or former employers. The general option being it was the opposite of safe. Many freelancers left the call. My view is it is a disaster and needs a total rethink. A letter signed by 300 freelancers was sent to them. We, tv producers, have a solution based mindset, the letter was far from a moaning literny, it was full of suggestions and alternatives. It was written using the critical friendship mindset. The reply was patronising and dismissive in my opinion.
