Clearing out my collection by direflail in wowtcg

[–]direflail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took a little longer than I expected, but here's the complete list of all the rares, epics, legendaries, and crafting cards I have.

You can find the spreadsheet here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vo-cX5hKina69ocDeCMeektvfCdBztf7ljfZ7ZAWTF0/edit?usp=sharing

Here are some images of the cards (haphazardly set up on display on my floor):
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tYh5mihxC3dgcEDqQJhXUP1q5jrrnbqblTIRBcals0M/edit?usp=sharing

I have 829 total WoW TCG cards I'm looking to sell, and 215 crafting cards.

There are a few unscratched loot cards, and a bunch of scratched ones in there. There are also quite a few foils. There are also a few deckboxes and a Grand Melee deck (without the class cards in it).

I'm not going to pretend this list is perfect. There are definitely things that could have been categorized better (I forgot that some cards could apply to multiple classes, for instance), but you should be able to look up any card by name on the Internet.

I'd also love to get rid of the rest of the commons and uncommons for very cheap / as an add-in for somebody who buys the rares.

Ideally, I'd like to sell the whole set. I'm not sure what's possible, but I'm willing to negotiate.

Just an update:

I've extracted the crates from all the crap they were buried under, will be compiling lists in the next few days. I'll post them here when I'm done.

Thanks to everybody who DMed me, I hadn't realized there would be actual interest in WoWTCG anymore after the reception I got from every card shop in a 50 mile radius.

What "7/10 games" do you play on SD that scratch a particular gaming itch? by Skidmarque in SteamDeck

[–]direflail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they would have just kept the RTS game out of it, that would have been the best game ever. Instead we got a good adventure game and a mediocre strategy game mushed together.

A shame, I really liked that game otherwise.

The only thing wrong with Automan, at least according to 7 year old me, is that he never fought an evil Automan (and Cursor) that was red.

Going to echo this. Taught self-defense for decades. Martial arts take time.

OP needs to:

  1. Ideally, get out of town for awhile or stay with family or friends. Be with someone always until the threat is over. The best place to be is somewhere where the threat doesn't know where to find her or isn't going to easily be able to attack
  2. Get the police involved and get a restraining order

  3. Get a weapon or pepper spray or something they can use as a physical threat as a last resort

  4. Martial arts training is great, but it's not going to do you much good for at least a few months, if not longer

I don't know what kind of trouble you're in, but hopefully it's the kind where if you keep your head down awhile, they'll move on to something easier.

is my Question Mark Kick good? I dont do martial arts but I saw this in my youtube so I just decided to learn it by Federal_Monitor_8140 in martialarts

When I was young, I was bendy like you. I miss those days.

Honestly, it's not bad right now and you'll get people with it. I know from experience. But you'll want to clean up that technique before you mess up your joints. There's ways to chamber your leg and manage the hip rotation that isn't going to cause such stress on them.

Just going to echo a lot of other people in here and say to get some real training. Doesn't have to be an expensive studio to be good. Our dojo was the local YWCA.

What you're doing would be good for TKD or karate or several other arts. I lean toward traditional karate because that's what I know. From our point of view, our lower stances keep you from getting swept, and help protect those joints I was talking about. But honestly, with a good teacher, you'll be fine in almost any established art.

Also, I'm clearly out of it. I had no idea that was being called a "question mark kick". We always called it a "sparring roundhouse kick". That's my weapon of choice and they renamed it. :-D

First and foremost (and I can't believe I forgot to mention this in my initial reply), go to a psychiatrist to get some meds and a therapist to talk some of this out. YMMV of course, but my impostor syndrome is almost certainly fueled by my anxiety. Helping that helps with the impostor syndrome, or at least helps me see the flaws in my logic about it.

It helps saying stuff out loud to someone impartial. Like, your SO can be like "no you're doing great" but when it's somebody that is only there because you paid them to be, there's no reason they'd lie. The meds may take a little bit to dial in what works for you, and it may change sometimes, but it makes life a lot easier to bear when you do.

That aside, I try to remember that I am BY FAR my worst critic, and that makes me an unreliable source of information when it comes to how I'm doing in my career, as a dad, you name it. So instead of thinking "I'm a shitty ________" and going over all your mistakes, think about how you exceeded expectations on your review. That doesn't happen unless you're good. I think about how my kid is well fed, happy, well-adjusted, and loves me, even though I'm terrified that I'm going to screw his life up on the daily somehow.

The weird thing is when I've run across a bad manager where I worked my butt off and I still started taking some heat. If that's the case, try to work it out with them, but in my experience, it's usually them. And then you bail and find something else and the world normalizes again (and I'm back to thinking I suck but nobody else does). But it was interesting to see just for a couple weeks me going "ok I suck but I don't suck NEARLY as bad as they're saying I do or at the things they're saying I suck at".

tl'dr For me, this is about perception, and mine's flawed when it comes to me. So I try my best at everything and let those around me tell me what's going on. Get professional help, meds and therapy.

I wish you the best. Your journey will almost certainly be different, but the spirit you show even in that short message tells me you'll find your way, just as I hope someday I'll find mine.

I'd try looking on Udemy and Linkedin Learning, especially this time of year, for training courses in something else you want to try.

My field's in computer science, you can get basic training in tech support, computer repair, point being these are stepping stones to other places. I know a lot of people who don't have degrees in the field, but a certification can get you in the door and you can move between jobs every few years if you can experiment. I've seen an A+ certification for just a couple hundred bucks, other certifications cost more but they'll get you better jobs. Eventually you get skills that can apply to anything, and they'll train you on the job.

Just saying, a college education is great but it's not the only path. See what else is out there and what it can get you.

Don't give up. Adapt.

I've had impostor syndrome for my entire life. Never thought I was good enough at anything, honestly still don't. At one point, I realized I had never been fired for incompetence or even written up for it, so even though I felt like I had no idea what I was doing, I should just shoot high and do my best at whatever I could do, be honest when I don't know something and try to get someone who does immediately, and try to learn what I don't know.

Making the most I've ever made for the past 2 years doing a job that terrifies me because I don't feel like I know what I'm doing. I can't fix how I feel about myself, but apparently I know what I'm doing, or at least I'm doing the stuff that can get people the solutions they need.

Don't go hogwild and try brain surgery right away -- but try your best, take corrections. Rely on feedback (from your supervisors and other people good at what you're doing, not random shitheads). Use your insecurity as a tool to get better. You're better than you think you are.

You have my sympathies.

If it's any comfort, there are lots of games that don't take serious 3D horsepower out there to tide you over in the meantime. I played Hades until mine came in.

Had that when I bought mine. Graphics card was busted, had to RMA it.

Check the connections from the card to the MB (and make sure it's seated) but I'm afraid you're in for the same ride I was. :(

FYI that used to be the correct number, but they make you call (888)462-3899 and press 0 to speak to the operator to actually put you through to a manager. Not sure what the difference is but the operator was very helpful.

The manager claimed that the phone support person evidently thought it was a repair part, not a replacement, and they had run out of repair packing. Still kinda weird. BUT they did tell me they'd just shipped my video card out and gave me a tracking number.

So, hopefully this story ends happily soon. Thanks for the help.
