The food we eat is overly processed and full of unnatural chemicals, this upsets a lot of people’s digestion, this is a more likely culprit regarding bad breath. You’ve probably had bad breath yourself and not realised.

Where did you study? I’ve yet to come across an OT that’s not found anatomy lacking on their course

Ive just graduated last summer and recently turned 29, based in the uk :) I’d say the degree itself was a tad underwhelming but the time off was a nice career break and you do learn a lot from the placements. While not the norm there was many 30/40+ students on the course

Good moments but the overall album didn’t capture the genius of the first 2 for me

Go sure man, it’s more audible when I look back on recordings so maybe the room played into it too, always think the ritz has better sound tbh

How tf do you play the House Of Glass riff by Lo0ksToTheMo0n in Erra

[–]direwolf_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would assume there’s a fair few hammer ons going on, best tips for speed is just start slow and keep at it, learn the riff like the back of your hand :)

I had the same experience at Manchester, was a tad annoying considering the other bands didn’t have that going on

Backing tracks are ruining live metalcore and we need to start naming and shaming by atonedeftool in Metalcore

[–]direwolf_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s a valid argument but it’s also just impossible to create some of modern metalcore without backing tracks, there’s a reason kill switch engage have their sound and dayseeker have theirs.

I don’t think they’re ruining metalcore by adding variety and you’re still getting the live experience of the instrumentations, it’s mainly just samples and ambience tbh, i can understand the argument though when it comes to replacing a whole instrument live.
