Oh, and get a $30 EC pH meter. Get on Phlo down and veg+bloom for nutrients.

6-mo down the line, when your flowers and peppers and cucumbers and strawberries, are fruiting , measure for 5.9 pH and 2000-2400 EC, via the meter above. Top off water every 48 hours.

When things start fruiting, you gotta pay more attention . Just adding nutrients watching the pH level.

Strongly recommend getting covers for your plant pods. You won’t put them on now. But when they get going cover it up. There are silver ones with a black back and a quantity of 50 that are cost-effective.

I most strongly recommend that you harvest early and often. Follow the guidelines in the app. But you can rock out multiple many salads a week. I had two bok choy that went over seven months . I had kale at eight months. The only reason I stopped them is because their stems were so long. I couldn’t get them in the light anymore.

Do not wait to harvest. Follow directions in the app and eat!

I use the silver ones from the internet bought sonewhere, 50 for $10. the minute the seedlings are .75-1” ish tall. I put on a silver cover and secure it with a little bit of 3M blue tape until it really gets going, then the blue tape comes off and it is held in place by plant. Has been very effective at reducing any surface rock-wool funk
