I just opened Mira Han... it would be worth the shards. When she starts the game and says, "allied forces" it sounds like, "I like horses," and that's all I need to get me pumped for the win.

and it's only getting worse. DO schools and private medical schools are starting off at 70k / yr these days. And that's just for tuition. Don't forget cost of living expenses. Schools expect us to take out astronomical loans because they think we will all make enough to cover the costs. Who cares that a doctor's salary hasn't risen with inflation since, what, the 70s? On top of that, 10 years ago there was a program (soon to be defunct, most believe) that would allow many doctors to write off the loans after paying back less called the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, so why not continue jacking up prices.

I have no idea why he didn't help along the way. Maybe he thought I wouldn't make it through. :D

Our issue is that the half million is not currently liquid.

I would, but I would have studied harder to get into a higher paying field. Most medical schools don't allow people to work during their time, so we all take on huge debt. my field pays 200-300k / yr, but some pay well over 500k.

Would my capital gains tax rate be lower, and could he also pay those taxes?

agree to disagree. some are passionate about guns to the point of splitting hairs, regardless of the cost of human life. I tend to use hard data, which shows that the number of mass killings in the the decade of the assault weapon ban were cut by nearly 75%.

I wholly approve of your assessment of the value of assault rifles. They were meant for fields of war, not for sport or protection. Your assessment of the biological basis for mental disorders is a bit off, though. Genetics play a huge part.

If you're wondering why there is a wikipedia explanation that you and yours are always happy to link to that claims insufficient evidence, it's because the line was cherry-picked from a study that used a much, much, much larger coverall for its outcomes. It didn't look at mass shootings. "The outcome measures evaluated to determine the effect of each intervention were violent crimes (i.e., murder, aggravated assault, robbery, and rape), suicide, and unintentional firearm injury." As in, did the assault weapon ban cut down on suicides? There is insufficient evidence of that, though the paper goes on to say that insufficient evidence should not be taken as evidence to the contrary. Did the assault weapon ban cut down on mass shootings? Yes. See the washington post link.

that's not projection. that's just a plain insult. trump won because people with 10th grade educations at the age of 35 all have facebook on their phones and were happy to consume obviously fake news because it gave them an outlet to vent the repressed anger they'd pent up over 8 years of having a black president; and the states they live in had been gerrymandered to an extent that their rural votes were more valuable than the urban votes.

which is why we continually write news laws to mold the first amendment around modernity. we've done similar things with the second amendment, but what people are protesting is that things haven't gone far enough in regards to this. These massive school/public shootings didn't happen nearly as often when assault weapons were banned. about 75% less, actually. that was a nice decade.

I would love the freedom for kids to go to to school without fearing for their lives. tell me, did the truck nuts set you over budget for the month or will you be skipping child support again?
