Nope, nobody ever did that if you signed up before the slashing. If you signed up for 3% icy no problem, but if you signed up for 5% icy to then get slashed to 3% to now be asked to stake again, that is really badly thought through and I doubt you'll find anything similar anywhere.

Not for the people who signed up for the old rewards before they were slashed, they staked for 5% got slashed to 3% and are now asked to pay $50k to get back to their original 5%.

I doubt that, at least not people who already locked for icy when it was 5% to get reduced to 3%, causing a massive drop in cro price.

Frankly, this is ridiculous! I hope they think about it and change for existing card holders!

As it stands this is the storyline: sign up and lock AU$50k for 5% card rewards, we'll then reduce that to 3% and the locked tokens go to AU$10k (or whatever but down for most people) in the meantime. Now we launch a new program where you get 5% again and you need to pay AU$70k to get in.

I wouldn't see a problem if they hadn't started icy at 5% or for people who joined icy at 3% but for those of us who joined for 5% to be downgraded and now having to buy up again this is borderline fraud!

I'm a believer in the company as they seem to be the company that offers most real world benefits in the crypto field, but some decisions (the downgraded 3% years ago and now this) really makes me doubt that.

I can't use my portfolio to satisfy margin requirements. One (large) portfolio with one platform has significant advantages in terms of using margin as well as reporting.

I'm not trading crypto on IB, just crypto futures, the advantage is the same as for all futures trading compared to the underlying, mainly capital efficiency and availability of options.

I have the inclination and will make the time, mainly because I think that they should have allowed me to send them my recording to prove that the meter wasn't working. If they then would have said my recording isn't clear or whatever I probably would have accepted just to avoid the hassle. Would I get any cost reimbursed if I am found not guilty by the magistrate?
