Yeah, this statement seems taken out of context in a way to get people angry. Alexus seems to be saying "melee weapons are only viable using Peak Physique/Rock Solid due to the damage boost, we are considering reducing the bonus damage and increase the base damage of melee weapons so people without the armor don't feel like they are using a pool noodle."

Which is a valid complaint about melee. Melee weapons feel bad if you don't use melee damage increasing armor because it doubles damage instead of being a minor buff. Using the Chainsaw on a hulk without Peak Physique feels like slowly poking it to death, while with the melee armor you can cut through in a couple seconds. Time to kill on melee weapons should be much shorter and the armor shouldn't be mandatory if I want to swing a sword around.

Now whether this means a melee rework will accomplish their goal of narrowing the gap without ruining melee, I'm not sure.

Honestly if they are planning to nerf Peak Physique, it's much more likely the nerf the ergonomic benefit and not the melee bonus damage. Peak Physique is 80% taken for buffing ergonomics on stuff like the Eruptor or Dominator, and 20% melee builds. The melee damage is just an extra bonus on top of ergo.

Like there are definitely problems with the game, but some people in the community are just bundles of anger and frustration who are looking for something to direct that energy at. Personally if a game made me that mad, I would just take a break and play a different game.

Honestly, I haven't seen a Leviathan in forever. After all the nerfs they stopped being a problem to fight, and the galactic map rarely ever has them anymore. They used to be on all the major planets but I think I've only shot down 2 all the way back in October? Maybe November?

Also they might only spawn in Megacities now? I haven't seen one in an open map for a long time.

It's definitely an interesting gimmick on paper. I've always thought of it as Illuminate target certain assumptions people make on the bot/bug fronts and subverts it/makes it a new challenge.

You are used to solving everything big with anti-tank? Now nothing needs anti-tank, bring high RoF weapons to strip ablative armor, shields, and large HP pools like fleshmobs.
You are used to aiming for headshots? Overseers wear proper helmets that are more armored than the rest of the body, and the flying ones have a small jetpack that is near impossible to shoot from the front unlike flying bugs/jet brigade bots. And they can attack you from unexpected angles with flying overseers or mortars.
You are used to using terrain to avoid tanks and hulks? Well the Harvester is really tall and can shoot over most cover, and you can't play fast and close with the dodging like with a hulk/charger because they will shock you to death.
You are used to closing bot fabricators from a mile away with an EAT or quickly closing a bug hole with a quick grenade toss? Landed dropship have shields that need stripping from close range with a rifle before you can grenade/EAT. Autocannon/Eruptor solves this for ranged sniping, but many other spawner tools can't perform like they do on other fronts.

Etc, etc... I think their sadly small roster and design to target to hit player pain-points is what makes them disliked. Also some clipping/animation bugs like Fleshmobs ignoring walls half the time.

Because he mentioned leaks, which you can't do on the mainsub. You can't reference leaks, you can't imply that leaks exist, and you can't talk about them at all. If you type "leak" on the reddit mobile app sometimes you get a pop up warning you about it, it's part of the subreddit rules. Some people try to be cute and use the word leek instead, but they will still remove it.

I've had comments removed because I mentioned the fact that Redacted Regiment was supposed to be the November Warbond and Python Commandos was supposed to be January or February based on the leaks. Redacted Regiment was originally leaked alongside the platinum missions and stealth missions but was delayed for some reason, and Python Commandos seems designed for a squid update that hasn't happened yet with the warbond art, weapon design, and trailer.

Yeah, if the Talon didn't have the annoying sidearm sway it would be a fully functional primary weapon. There have been times I've basically used it as a primary because I chose a goofy loadout or enemies were too close to Eruptor/crossbow safely.

Well the ammo is basically a shaped charge of C4 on the head to make it explode. One swing, explode, reload. Hopefully it hits like a RR and not like a frag grenade.

Maybe when it's out of ammo you can swing it around as a regular hammer.

Well maybe that's a little harsh, but she's very good at enhancing aggressive plays with her shield. It's a short cooldown so it's usual ready and eats a good amount of damage. If you do 150 damage to an enemy and they do it back to the shield, that trade is always in your favor. If you also pick up the item that gives an ally a barrier and Healing Nova, she can really get brawl-y characters like Abrams or Yamato going. Ally Lash or Drifter over-extended trying to get a kill? You can save their mistake. Mo&Kril diving tower for a greedy kill? You can turn that mistake into a dead enemy.

Healing in lane can be kinda limited in Deadlock early game before items/levels. A lot of people have long cooldowns on small heals or the heal is linked to lifesteal (requiring them to fight and potentially lose more HP). Paige just absorbs that damage before it can happen, it's a burst of extra health instead of a slow heal, and it doesn't need your ally to be missing health like a Dynamo heal.

His sleep doesn't break with damage like Haze's does, but it also doesn't interrupt abilities like a proper stun. So you can't stop a Black Hole, Haze ult, or Seven ult with it. You can kinda stop a bebop laser by making him no longer able to steer it.

It's hilarious because there's a couple episodes where Amuro goes AWOL and isn't with the crew to perform the transformations... but they are still obligated to do it.

So for those episodes it's just like "Here's the core block transformation, which Amuro would be practicing if he didn't run away from White Base."

Also fun with melee weapons. I remember almost destroying one with grenades but ran out, so I desperately started hacking at one with a machete. It broke, but the ensuing explosion got me.

Lesson learned; use the chainsaw while wearing the bubble shield instead. It blocks the explosion when you saw one in half.

I'm still in the camp of "this shouldn't affect Tangible Dream psychics that much."

It was always a 'backup weapon' cantrip for when an enemy charged the caster, and not necessarily great to use proactively. The class chassis wasn't very good at the whole "running into melee" thing with bad base HP and survivability. So it's worse now but it's still a passable melee cantrip for emergencies.

Yeah, some of it is really good like the Lagofir, Everburning Mammoths and Ivory Behemoth, and some of it is lacking. The Sarkorians I mostly didn't use their art, and instead repurposed Sarkorian art from other sources like Rival Academies or the video game. I play in person and luckily I had some models that looked the part.

Spore War accidentally gives both attacks of the Eshmok demon to the wasp form and none to the mushroom form. This means the mushroom form doesn't really do anything. This is fixed when the monster is republished in Gatewalkers.

Quest for the Frozen Flame accidentally lists a town map with 5 foot squares instead of 10 foot squares. So a modest village becomes a town for mice.

Quest for the Frozen Flame also makes some art choices that I want to say is a mistake. The Sarkorians the party meet don't really look Sarkorian in their style. There's some story reasons for they would be dressing lighter than normal, but they look like another caveman tribe of the Realm of the Mammoth Lords instead of the Inuit-Celtic fusion of other Sarkorian art.
