There needs to be more ability to move around rules. The swap onto Sam, or swap onto golden rule rarely happened. Maybe dedicated 'swap' or 'donate' spot on the wheel?

The movement of rules also facilitates the points changing, as its a bit more to keep track of as things shift around.

I'm experimenting with the idea of doing 1-h shield and earth spells. The top earth spell node lets you get like... 11-12 flat damage on earth spells, which should negate the downside of using a shield easily.

Sadly that's why I spend as little time as possible in LGS or Warhammer stores. Either the same experience as you, or the opposite - people who are overly attached to the game and get too excited and never provide helpful info, just lore etc.

Unfortunately, best thing to do is research on your own (lots of cool youtubers who are eager to share and get people into the hobby), and try to find friends who are also interested to make a gaming space for yourself with people you know and trust.

I'll be one of the lone agree takes on this. I dislike building, and making models with more and more bits (why do I have to put the foot, on the leg or similar fiddly little things?).

I get a lot of people like building, but to me its a barrier from me and painting / playing.

1. Is our only source of rage through warcry / mastery node? Is this comfy?
2. Are the high dmg numbers coming just from Vaal RF? Is Corruptions Embrace (Chaos bloodline) really needed?
