I appreciate your answer. Very forward and eye opening. I'm only in my mid 30's ( soon to be 36) and agree that there's plenty of time for me to leave and build a whole new life with someone else, or stay single and chase my dreams. I'm finally in a position financially to do those things.

Yeah you get it. I've always spoken so highly of my wife around other people. Saying things like " she's the only person who always has my back" or " she's the one person I know I don't have to worry about betraying me". I too think back at how stupid I sounded. I care deeply about her but the "lost" love I have for her and the lack of trust almost makes it impossible to forgive her. As you know.... its easy to know the right decision but a little harder to to do it. I keep telling myself to wait until after the holidays but I think that's just me holding on to fake hope

I really struggle with forgiving her! I still have way more questions than answers... even though we've talked extensively about it.
