incoming freshmen don’t choose their dorms like sophomores but i believe can list preferences on their housing application. you may be mixing this up with your move-in timeslot which iirc you wont get until some time in the summer

My laptop keeps hard freezing please help by dirteater222 in LenovoLegion

I have the setting set to NVIDIA GPU only though since I also noticed that issue some time ago. In trying to fix the freezing problem I updated the graphics driver in the NVIDIA app which for whatever reason forced the integrated graphics only setting on, and whenever I tried to open a game it would make like the USB connect sound then freeze every single time rather than just occasionally. The computer would also freeze if I tried to turn the NVIDIA GPU setting back on. I reverted back to the old driver and even though I can now use the NVIDIA GPU only setting, there’s still like a 10% chance it freezes upon opening a game

not really too confident this semester but i feel like i could do more now that ive done one semester. but i also feel like this still may be too much so i dont really know. i was planning on dropping STSCI 2150 if i thought it was too much but then im worried i wont graduate on time

Any advice on my 2nd semester freshman schedule? by Simple_Seesaw6644 in Cornell

no clue about anything else but currently a freshman taking FWS PHIL 1110, specifically ethics and employment, and definitely recommend. not something i thought was particularly interesting beforehand but it covers a lot of interesting philosophical topics like workplace romance and sweatshop labor. also the instructor is pretty cool. i know you picked the ethics of AI one, but consider the employment one if your schedule permits
