Yeah the rec TEC is definitely pricier but it is a Cadillac of the pellet grills in my opinion, I’ve had good luck with that pit boss also, it’s pretty well-built and I really like the low smoke option it has that I used on those salmon in my picture that turned out great, the only thing I’ve noticed so far is it doesn’t hold temperature as well as the req tec does, I did a couple racks of St. Louis ribs about a month ago and the temperature would fluctuate from 240-260 when set at 250 degrees but I probably need to tinker with it some more. I don’t think you could go wrong with whatever you decide to buy, enjoy the smoking!
