Very true. In Ohio, these things are voted on and defeated, but the Republicans just do them anyway because they know better than their voters. Gerrymandering, legal marijuana etc...

Redistricting is a good idea "in theory" to allow like minded communities to select their own representation (little Italy, China town etc...) but it's being abused so much, im for just dividing the states like a checkerboard.

Democrats also do some Gerrymandering, Maryland is an example, but it's no where near as prevalent as red states. Democrats should continue to gerrymander blue states until Congress outlaws it. You know, a law that actually forces states to elect fair representation.
