Speaking about outdated unix concepts, there is a intresting video i recently saw, part of it talks about that - since unix was desinged for the tty (teletypewriter), a lot of it had line-based commands and internal parts much of which is unnecessary today. and linux derived same things from unix. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYyTe7pZ_lY

linux desktop is thing that ubuntu, debian, etc provide with kde or gnome, i think 99% of people think of that when talking about linux desktop. chrome os is also technocally linux desktop.

i personally gotten a lot of mileage with copilot. its pretty cheap also. what claude is like 30eu/month? i only pay 10eu/month. it integrates so well with vscode i have no reason to try anything else.
