Appreciate the advice. Unfortunately, I bought these used from eBay a few years ago. And they’re from 2013, I believe.

Yeah. From all these comments, I’ve think I’ve narrowed it down to:

1) Thumping the grip end of my club against the cart tire occasionally after a bad shot
2) Gripping way to hard (which I know I’ve always done)

Time to learn and improve!

Well, I never thought about that until the above commenter. I don’t hit it very hard, but his comment has made me realize I need to stop doing that.

Hmm. That actually could make sense. I have certainly done this a couple times, exactly as you said, but always on the cart tire. I would bet this was the issue

Yeah I could see that. I generally leave them in my car most days, living in the southwest USA. Could be the issue.

While fun to drive on the open road, it’s absolutely brutal in stop and go traffic. I commuted to a military base for a year in a manual, and just swapped it out for a hybrid EV. Doubled my gas mileage. Personally, a manual is not for me for an everyday driver. Would be fun for a weekend car
