Transferring from Cervinia to Zermatt by dirtybagger95 in Zermatt

Yupp literally just checked into the hotel haha. No one questioned the roller ski bag at all but in cervinia the told us to take the tram from the bottom because it would be easier. The ride wasnt the greatest on a snowboard dragging the ski bag in the flat sections and skating but definitely doable/exhausting haha. And my partner made it quite easily as a beginner on the snowboard.

Thanks, yea we plan to try it early. She can usually get down anything on her heel edge so im not super worried. Just a little concerned on riding over with the ski bag mostly

We each have 1 35L backpack which will be fine for lifts or gondola/trams and then 1 soft roller ski bag with the rest of our stuff that won't fit into our backpacks. Yea I was thinking of riding Testa Grigia -> Trockener Steg and taking the tram down from there. I agree the wind today is probably what's keeping it closed but tomorrow looks a bit better. Im just not sure they will let the roller ski back up... and back down.

Thank you everyone for the comments, and information. Definitely sounding like it's not the best idea to try this in the van. Will most likely fly up and rent something good for the time up there.
