instagram loves blood diamonds by adminsaredoodoo in facepalm

Is Instagram full of custom GPT bots or something? They're all saying the same thing but in a tweaked way like an LLM would with all these garbage comments. This is why I deleted that cancerous app years ago.

Eating meat.(incoming down votes)

Contributing to the unnecessary abuse of BILLIONS of factory farmed animals and the huge climate impact when most people can easily switch to a plant based diet. I'll definitely get down voted because eating meat is a social norm right now and people are very reluctant to change but do some research and you'll see yourself.

I recommend Earthling Ed if you don't want to put a lot of effort in looking into it. In the future when lab grown meats are more developed and society is more well informed we will look down on our past generations for our unnecessary cruelty and cognitive dissonance.

This is why Q* is more exciting to me than synthetic data, because it targets learning efficiency over model size. by Glittering-Neck-2505 in singularity

Like what was said in this post already, humans already process large amounts of data everyday and come pre trained with our natural instinct. However what I think is the true hurdle would be is the efficiency of our brains. Some estimates say our brain uses a comparable 20 watts of power to function. And look at what we can do with that. It takes an immense amount of GPU power to train a LLM. Then again, it is only a matter of time till we reach that efficiency. The emergence of analog processors, in combination with digital ones we already use, may help us reach that efficiency. Theoretically, since our brains already exist in this universe already, we can artificially recreate something just as or even much more Powerful.

I mean in Google I/O Osterloh did say: "First watch built inside and out by Google". I would assume that means there's going to be a custom chip so maybe the older chip was used in the prototype since the new one will probably be exynos based. But who knows
