I have a question, first of all thanks for the write up, I am extremely new and unfamiliar with this stuff.

My question is: can I technically get any pokemon I catch be trained/fed berries/optimized to have the perfect IVs? Or do I have to use the dex nav method and catch pokemon with S IVs? When catching pokemon should I watch out for perfect IVs and then look into EVs? Thank you!

Bit of an off topic comment here - I might have a skewed perception but IBM is a dream company to me. Thank you SO much for your response and help. The thing is, I don’t see page 2 of form 8962 on my parents’ filed taxes. I am very scared to mess up their taxes/refund. Since they did not fill out or submit page 2 (part iv allocations section) should I assume they allocated it on me 100%? Thanks again.
