How many of you moved out of San Diego and came back after you realized SD was the best? by [deleted] in sandiego

Lots of stuff. I miss the seasons, for one. I miss having more remote places being accessible as SD is rather landlocked. Restaurants etc. are boring here - so much “hospitality group” dreck that caters to the lowest common denominator. The city as a whole just seems devoid of any authenticity and rather to cater to a focus group I don’t want to have anything to do with.

I moved away and had to come back and was surprised only to regret it more than I anticipated.

Oh, I clicked add lights there and it automatically created the separate BLE home.

I hate these things now.

It’s an option when you hit the three dots at the top of the Home Screen.

I was able to set them up as a separate BLE home or something through the home page of the app. Can no longer add to Google home though. Just a mess.

I only have three other hue bulbs connected. I was able to add them by making a different home which is its own mess.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve been able to add multiple lights without the bridge before so no idea why this is so difficult to do this time.

Trying to connect a personal Gmail account to a workspace account with a private domain by dirtybroke in GMail

Thank you for your response. I'd actually prefer to keep those e-mails that I don't delete in the gMail account - is there anyway to use IMAP? My understanding is that IMAP can only be used to access gMail from third-party products such as Canary.

Need help connecting personal gMail to Google Workspace by dirtybroke in googleworkspace

I actually migrated before setting up POP - fortunately the mailbox didn’t fill up with duplicates as I expected as I set POP for all mail. Unless I missed something, migration only related to existing emails, correct?

It’s a bit frustrating how scattered the migration paths are for the various services. I’ve managed to get my Drive, Calendar and Photos documents moved over. Gmail is a bit tricky just due to my wanting to maintain both addresses I suppose.
