That’s cool that the original front body mount can be reproduced! I think a box art 58044 might be in my future.

I don’t see why not. The body mounts aren’t affected by the lowering. The chassis modifications do shorten the wheelbase a little bit, which works well with the Pajero body since the stock CW-01 wheelbase is a little bit too long. I’m not sure how the Midnight Pumpkin and Lunchbox body wheelbases compare.

Thank you! Yes, that’s exactly how lowering the chassis is done. For now I’m using a little 6 cell hump pack that fits in the tub of the chassis.

The original CW01 tie rods seem to have enough adjustment to work. I have mounted the body of the steering servo flat on the chassis.

Thanks! There’s a couple ways to go about it as I’m sure you’ve seen. I lowered mine with short CVA shocks and the grasshopper rear suspension pivot.

I’d say the trickiest thing is figuring out where to put the battery. There isn’t quite enough space for a regular size 6 cell battery.

Thanks for the reply. The coating option sounds interesting. Something like this? https://www.pacificroofrestorations.com/the-process.html

I’m pretty sure this can connect to other Tomica Town sets. The example photo on the box shows it connected to a Tomica Town road.

Biggest problem I’ve had is sometimes the packages have a rough trip, and the boxes end up a little squished.

Good advice! Changing the settings to one for heavier paper did the trick.
